Playing Catch Up

This is a gift card holder we made at my December stamp club meetings. We used the POP 'N CUTS CARD BASE to cut the card base.  It is a die that is exclusive to Stampin' Up! The base can be used by itself to make a unique card with a special closure.  And with just a few scores using the SIMPLY SCORED SCORING TOOL - you get a cute gift card holder.

If you score the card a little differently, you get a gift card holder that looks like this:

The star stamp on this card is from the Holiday Collection of single stamps.  If you like it, you must buy it TODAY!  It is only available through January 31, 2014.

A Tiny Treat

This is the 3D project we made at my stamp club meetings this month.  We used the Designer Series Paper, Sweet Sorbet and the Envelope Punch Board to make a 3x3" envelope.
Then we tucked a Ghirardelli Chocolate inside and finished it up with a cute bow made using a few punches.  Really cute and simple.

You can receive a package of Sweet Sorbet designer series paper for FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! order during the greatest sale of the year: SALE-A-BRATION.  The sale continues through March 31.  There are lots of other FREE products you can receive with each $50 you spend!

You Can Never Have Too Much Happy!

I held my first stamp club meetings of the year earlier this month.  It was great to see everyone again and to get back to stamping with friends.  The first project we made was a 3 x 6 card using the V- Latch technique.  We also used the Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope that would fit this size card.  I received the Yippee Skippee stamp set at Convention last summer and decided it was time to open it up and use it! Below are some of the other samples I made.

We used Versamark to ink a pattern on the inside of the card, with part of it showing when the card is closed.  I hope you can see from the photo below how this card works.

Contact me if you would like to learn more about my stamp clubs.  There is no long term commitment.  Just pay a $7 materials fee, or place a $15 minimum order at each meeting you attend.  Order consistently and you can earn FREE MERCHANDISE.

And since it has been awhile since I posted to my blog, here is another project idea.  I  made one of these 3x3 cards for everyone who placed a Stampin' Up! order with me during December.

I copied this idea from a card I saw on Pinterest.  I used a retired Snowflake punch, added some silver dazzling details and a rhinestone to add some sparkle.
