The Last of November's Contest Cards

The cards below were made by my stamp club members.  At our November club meeting we stamped the images from the Gently Falling Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then everyone chose a card base and another piece of coordinating card stock.  They used those supplies along with any other Stampin' Up! supplies they had at home to make a card.  Just about everyone participated in this card challenge.  You can see the other contest entries by scrolling through the last few posts on my blog.

I chose the winner of this contest by asking Ben to pick a number between one and ten.  He chose #7, which is the project below.
I can remember who made this card because I thought it was so unique!  But she will have to leave a comment on this blog post if she wants to choose a prize from my basket.  Just a little test to see if my club members have been reading by blog!

Thanks for stopping by today!

More Club Contest Cards

Below are more cards from my November stamp club contest.  My club members made such beautiful cards I just had to share.......even though it has been 3 months since they were made.

I am so impressed with how these cards turned out.  Come back tomorrow to see the rest of the cards!

November's Club Contest cards

At my November stamp club meetings, we did some Two Step Stamping using the Gently Falling stamp set from Stampin' Up!.  CLICK HERE to see the card we made.  As we were stamping that card, I had my club members stamp these same leaves in a random pattern on another piece of vanilla card  stock.  Then they chose a coordinating color for their card and another color for an accent piece.  They were supposed to use all three pieces to make a card to bring and show us at our next meeting.  This was a popular contest and just about everyone accepted the challenge.  Below are the first three entries.

This entry was not a card - but a photo mat.  How creative is that?!   This was made by Debbie.  I am not sure who made the cards below, but we will figure that out when I choose the winner (at random.)

I have several more cards to show you from this contest.  Check back to see them!

My Cookies predicted the Super Bowl Winner - again!

Yesterday was our 3rd Annual "Soup"er Bowl Stamp Camp.  I made the cookies above as one of the desserts - the orange sprinkles represented Denver and the blue sprinkles represented Seattle.  I didn't tell anyone that was why they were decorated that way.........so when they were choosing their cookie, they were subconsciously choosing their favorite team.  Although I didn't take an "after" picture, I did count the cookies that were left and more people chose the blue cookies, which meant they picked Seattle as the winner!  I did the same thing last year with the Ravens and the 49ers, and my stampers got it right that time, too.  You can see that post by CLICKING HERE.

Below are photos of Linda and Lynne getting everything ready for our stamping event.

We had 24 stampers come to make 12 all occasion cards and to enjoy a bowl of home made soup.  It was a fun way to spend the afternoon, and we made it home in time to watch the Big Game.  Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Everyone's A Winner!

Each month at my stamp club meetings, I like to give my club members supplies to make a card.  They can use additional (Stampin' Up!) supplies to finish their cards.  They bring the completed cards to the next meeting and I choose a winner at random.  I guess I got too busy or was too disorganized at the holidays so I did not get two months worth of club contest projects posted.  The cards below were from a contest last fall.

I am pretty sure I remember who made the cards above.  I am not sure who made the card below.  It doesn't use the supplies I gave out, so it may just be a "show & tell" card.  I ask club members to bring projects that they have made between our club meetings to share with the others in our group.  If they bring something to show, they can pick something from my goody basket.

Since I waited so long to post these photos, each person who has a card posted here today can pick a prize from my Prize Basket at our next club meeting!  The only catch is that if you made one of these cards, you must comment on this post!!  If you think you participated in this challenge, but I don't have your card posted, let me know!  Sometimes I take photos with my phone and they don't always get uploaded!

My stamp club meetings are a lot of fun!  We usually make 2 cards and 1 "3D" item.  There is no long tern commitment. You can pay a $7 materials fee or place a minimum $15 order for each meeting you attend.

I would love to have you come stamp with me!
