Stamping with the Girl Scouts

I recently organized a stamping activity for our local Girl Scout Council.  More than 50 girls, ages 5 to 18, made close to 150 cards that will be donated to the Navy, nursing homes, and a local organization that works with new mothers.
The girls did an awesome job and it was nice to see them helping each other.
Below are some of the cards they made.

In addition to making the cards, the girls also wrote notes to include in some of the cards.  The notes to the sailors were especially touching.  I am sure they will be greatly appreciated by the recipients.

Although it was a lot of work getting everything prepared for this event - it was very rewarding being part of this great project.  My favorite comment came from one of the moms when she told me she didn't realize the girls would be making "professional" cards!
