December's Stamp Club Projects

These were the projects we made at my December stamp club classes.  The cards at the top are made with the Christmas Cuties stamp set - which is retiring on January 4.  The 3D item we made was a square pillow box.  Unfortunately the pillow box thinlit and coordinating stamp set are also on the retired list.  This is such a versatile die - it makes a nice sized box and there are ways to make it even bigger, like the one at the top right.  You can click on the pictures below to purchase these items before they are gone for good!

Christmas Cuties!

 Merry Christmas!

We made these cards at my December stamp club classes.  I had to ink up this stamp set before it retires on January 4.  I bought this set thinking that I would use it to make cards for the children in my preschool class.  But that never happened!

Click on the picture below to buy this stamp set before it is gone!

Window Swing Card

This is the Window Swing Card we made at my November stamp club meetings. In an earlier video I demonstrated how to paint the flower.  In this video, I show you how to put the card together to make it swing open.

In the video, I made a mistake when talking about the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.  The slot is a ribbon slide - for adding ribbon to your projects.  (Not for buttons!)

Below are some of the cards my stamp club members made using different colors of card stock and ink.

Pacific Point and Basic Black
 Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon
Pacific Point and Cajun Craze
Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey

White Wash Watercolor Technique

These are cards we made at my stamp club classes in November.  We stamped and heat embossed the flower and then colored it with I call the White Wash Technique.  Watch the video below to see how I did it.

I encouraged everyone at my classes to choose their favorite ink and card stock colors. Several stampers chose Blackberry Bliss, which is the ink color I used in the video.  Below is the card Karen made - it is just beautiful!

Thankful

This was one of the cards we made at my November stamp club classes.  It was quick and easy to make.  I was inspired by a SWAP card that was on display at the Stampin' Up! OnStage event I attended in Baltimore last month.

Pilgrim Projects

I am still catching up with posting my stamp club projects.  Here are two projects we made at my November classes - a Pilgrim card and matching Fry Box.  I CASED these projects from Tami White, another Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I was searching Pinterest and found these cute projects.  They are easy to make - the trickiest part is cutting the scallop for the fry box.  Just tricky - not difficult!

October's 3D Project

At my October stamp club classes, my stampers could choose to make one of these cute boxes using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit Dies from Stampin' Up!  The "boobie" box was in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, of course.  And the Scarecrow was just a cute fellow I found on Pinterest.

The Curvy Keepsake box is so versatile.  Below are examples of other boxes we have made at my club meetings in the past.
The boxes are so easy to make and there are so many different things you can make.  Check out even more ideas on my CURVY KEEPSAKE BOX PINTEREST BOARD

Tin Of Cards

This was one of the cards we made at my October stamp club classes.  We used the 2015-2017 In Color card stock, ink, envelope paper and Blossom Accents to make this card - all from Stampin' Up! of course.  The color of this card is Mint Macaron.

The "happy birthday' greeting comes from the Tin of Card stamp set.  The stamp set was designed to coordinate with the Tin of Cards Project Kit.  But it is a great set with a lot of nice greetings - suitable for many occasions.

Please EMAIL ME with any questions.

Happy Scenes

At my October stamp club classes, my stampers chose to make one of the following cards:

I like to give my stampers a choice - so that they make a card they like and will (hopefully) use.  All of these cards were made using the Happy Scenes stamp set by Stampin' Up! This stamp set has a lot of images and greetings for the fall and winter holidays.  WARNING - it will be retiring soon - so if you want it, you better buy it before it is gone!  You can save 15% when you bundle it with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies.

October Stamp Club Projects

I was getting ready to post November's stamp club projects, when I realized that I never posted October's projects!  I really have to get better at staying on top of things!

At our October meetings, my stampers chose which of the window scenes they wanted to make: Halloween, Fall, or Christmas.  I like to offer choices so that everyone goes home with a card that they can use.

They also could choose which of the In Colors they wanted for making the "Happy Birthday" card and matching envelope.  The cards shown here are Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, and Mint Macaron.  The Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush colors were the favorites and so I ran out of those colors.

Finally, our 3D project was to make either the "Boobie Box" or  the Scarecrow, using the Curvy Keepsake Box Die.

Check back for more more details about each project.

December's Scripture Writing Plan

Here is December's Scripture Writing Plan from Sweet Blessings

Last month I shared this idea as a way for my stamp club members to use the Creative Journals they made earlier  in the year.

I think this is a great way to focus on what is really important at this time of the year.  So I hope you will join me in taking a few minutes each day in December - to write the verses and reflect on God's Word.

Club members - if you take the challenge and write the Scriptures in December - bring your journal to our December meeting and receive a special gift from me!

if you would like more information about my stamp clubs, please EMAIL ME for information.
