3 Days Left to Earn FREE Sale-A-Bration Products

The end of Sale-A-Bration is approaching FAST!  Friday is the last day to earn FREE products during Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year.  Click on the image below to learn more.

Each day this week I am featuring one of the products you can earn for FREE during this special promotion.  Today I am featuring my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set; So Very Much.
This is a really quick and easy card to make.  I cut a strip of Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper and adhered it at the bottom of a Thick Whisper White card base.  Then I tied Blushing Bride baker's twine around the the card.  I stamped the "Thank You" image in Blushing Bride ink - then I used the Stamp-a -ma- jig to stamp the "Thank You" again just to the left and a little above the Blushing Bride words - but this time using Rich Razzleberry Ink.  Below is a close up of the "shadow" look you get from stamping in the two different colors:
It just adds a little something extra - although the card would still look great if it was just stamped once!

Below is the same card just using a different patterned paper and different ribbon:

4 Days Left to Earn FREE Products!

banner_SAB2017_demo_Dec0116

Click on the image above to learn more about how to earn FREE Stampin' Up! products - with each $50 purchase.  Friday is the last day to earn these products - so each day this week I am featuring one of the FREE products.

Today's projects use the Carried Away Designer Series Paper.
The stampers who came to my January classes chose to make one of these cards as their FIFTH card.  Usually we make two cards and one "3D" project - but in January  I was so excited about all the new products in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog and the FREE Sale-a-bration items - that we made FIVE cards at each of my classes.

You can see the cards we made using the Dragon Fly Dreams stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies if you check out older blog  posts.

These cards were made with the Lift me Up stamp set and coordinating dies.  You can save 10%  if you bundle the items together!  I just LOVE these products.  The thinlits make it easy to cut own the different colors for the large hot air balloon.  I actually cut out all the pieces at one time using one color - then repeated for each of the colors.  That way I could mix and match the shapes and colors and could make several of the hot air balloons.

The designer seriees paper in the background is a Sale-a- bration item that you can only receive for FREE -  with a $50 order.  Sale-a-bration ends March 31, so there is not much time left to get this fabulous paper!

CLICK HERE to see the items you can earn for FREE (with each $50 purchase - before S/H & tax) through March 31 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

Last 5 Days of Sale-a-bration

Sale-A-Bration ends THIS FRIDAY!  You have five days left to earn FREE products, with each $50 Stampin' Up! order.  Click on the image below for more details:

banner_SAB2017_demo_Dec0116
Each day this week I will feature one of the items that you can earn for free.  Today's FREE product is Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.  It is the patterned paper I used on the card below.  The images are black and white - meant for you to color with our new Watercolor Pencils - or your favorite coloring tools.
We made this card at my January stamp club classes.  We usually make two cards and one 3D item at my classes - but in January we made FIVE cards - because I had so many products that I wanted everyone to try.  That is the beauty of my classes - you get to TRY before you BUY.  (But you never ever have to buy a thing!)

This card uses all Stampin' Up! products, including Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper - that you can only get for FREE with a $50 purchase (through March 31, 2017.)  we cut the paper into three pieces and separated them ever so slightly.  We colored one of the sections with the NEW watercolor pencils, then blended the colors using a blender pen.  We stamped the words"To a wonderful friend" on the Calypso Coral card stock using Versamark Ink.  We finished the card with another greeting from the Dragonflies Dream stamp set, layered it on burlap ribbon and added a black bow made with baker's twine.

PLEASE CONTACT ME if you would like more information about my classes and/or about the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.

Countdown to Christmas - 9 months

How did March 25 get here so fast?!  That means there are only 9 months until Christmas!  For the past few years I have tried to post a Christmas card on the 25th of each month - and suggested getting an early start on making your Christmas cards.  Well - this year has just flown by - so I am playing catch up and posting THREE Christmas cards for you today!

These are all quick and easy cards - I checked Pinterest and whipped these three up in about an hour using Stampin' Up! products.  The one above is a Crumb Card card with a strip of This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper and a small strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  The stamp set I used is Tin of Tags from last year's holiday catalog.  I added a rhinestone to the center of each snow flake.

Here is another card that starts with a Crumb Cake card base.  It is a great card for using up all those patterned paper scraps from other projects.  I used the Softly Falling embossing folder with the Big Shot - to add the snow to the background and then sponged the embossed paper with white craft ink.  I drew some snow on the ground at the base of the tree trunk using a chalk marker - but I know I have a stamp set somewhere with a "swoosh" that would probably look better.  I used a retired punch to add a star to the top of the tree. The Merry Christmas stamped at the bottom of the card is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Here is the last card  -  but this time I used a Crumb Cake note card.  It is a little smaller than a standard card.  The photo below shows how I cut the word "merry" from the Real Red mat.  This is a way to save a little card stock.  I covered that hole with the images stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I used the stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings

These cards are quick and easy to recreate - and a great way to get started on making hand crafted Christmas cards this year.

Dragonfly Dreams - part 3

This is the third card we made at my January stamp club classes - using the Dragon Fly Dreams stamp set from Stampin' Up!  There were  just so many cute cards on Pinterest that inspired me - that I couldn't stop using the stamp set and coordinating thinlits!

This card also uses the new watercolor pencils for the colorful background.  I started by just scribbling some color onto a piece of thick whisper white card stock.  Then I used an aqua painter to go over the colors to give them a smooth watercolor look.  I cut out the group of dragonflies using the dies and then attached them to the card using glue dots.  I finished the card by stamping the greeting and then layering onto black cardstock and then onto a white card base.

Below is a similar card - using different colors of pencils and using Copper foil paper instead of black card stock.

This is another "WOW" card that is so easy to make.  Let me show you how!

Dragonfly Dreams - part 2

We made this card at my January stamp club classes - using Stampin' Up! products.  We started with a Crumb Cake card base.  We cut the dragonfly from Blushing Bride glimmer paper using Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies, then glued a piece of "Falling in Love" Designer Series Paper on top of the glimmer paper - covering the hole left from cutting out the dragonfly.  This is a great tip for saving valuable paper!  The oval was cut from Layering Oval Framelits - only because I hadn't received my Stitched Framelits when I made this card!  I sponged around the outside of the oval using Crumb Cake ink.  The "Thank You" if from the All Things Thanks stamp set.  This card has the "WOW" factor - yet it was so easy to make.  Let me show you how!

Dragonfly Dreams

When Stampin' Up! revealed the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set at OnStage in November - my first reaction was "eewww."  I think of dragonflies as big ugly bugs that sting and I did NOT like this stamp set one bit.  But I definitely was in the minority - because just about everyone else there seemed to "ooh" and "aah" over it.  And just about everyone who has seen the cards I made with the set - has also gone on to buy the stamp set and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly thinlits dies.

This card was made using a Pear Pizzazz card stock card base.  The dots are stamped twice using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I stamped the dragon fly using Stampin' Up!'s archival black ink then cut it out using the coordinating die.  The wings were colored using the NEW watercolor pencils.  I colored using the pencils first, then blended the colors together using a blender pen.  This set does have some great choice for greetings for the front and inside of the card.

Below is the same card with the white piece and black mat tilted a bit.

You can bundle the stamp set and dies together and save 10%.  And for an additional $3.25 purchase,  you will earn a FREE Sale-a-bration item.

January's Stamp Club Projects

These are the projects we made at my January stamp club classes.  We usually make two cards and one "3D" item, but for January we made 5 cards instead.  There are so many awesome stamp sets and new products  in the Occasions catalog - that I wanted to feature several of them in my January classes.  Two of the cards also feature Designer Series Paper that you can only get for FREE during Sale-a-bration.  Those free papers are the "Carried Away" paper used on the hot air balloon card and the "Inside the Lines" paper that is used on the bottom right card.  It is cute paper that you can color in yourself - using Stampin' Up!s new Watercolor Pencils.  Check back to see each card up close and to learn more details about making them.

There are only 3 weeks left for you to earn your FREE Sale-a-bration items!
