Monday's Mail

Were you one of the lucky people who received one of these cards in the mail?  After 10 years as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I decided I should SEND more cards and not just make them and keep them in a box!  Last week I put 7 cards in the mail.
If you would like to receive a card in the mail - just CLICK HERE and email  me your birthday and address.  If your birthday is more than a few months away, I will surprise you with a random card when you'll least expect it!

I challenge you to send a card to someone - even if you don't make it yourself!

BUT, I would love to teach you how easy it is to make cards like the ones above.  Just visit my STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE to see my calendar of events.  Or CONTACT ME for information about holding a private class for you and your friends!

Happy Birthday, my friend (#2)

Here is another card that I made for another friend's milestone birthday.  I used the Lemon Zest stamp set from Stampin' Up!  The card stock and ink colors are Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz. You can't really tell, but I used Wink of Stella on the oranges - to make them look like the candy orange slices.  Below is the inside of the card
I used the retired large number dies to cut out the 6 from Pumpkin Pie glimmer paper (retired.) The orange slice that is used to make the "zero" was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White, punched out, and popped up with dimensionals.  The other orange slices are stamped directly on the Whisper White card stock - but I stamped off first to give them a lighter tone.  I used the envelope punch board to make a small envelope to hold a gift card.  I used the Circle Tab punch to make it easier to pull the gift card out of the envelope.

I used the Envelope Punch board to make an envelope for this card.

I filled a "31" tote with all kinds of orange things.   I didn't think to take a photo until I was in the car on my way to the party.  So it is difficult to see all the different "orange" things that I included!

Thank you, Pinterest, for the card and gift idea!

Christmas in July

This is what I saw when I was shopping at my local at home store last week!  I am not ready to think about Christmas, especially while I am enjoying my summer vacation (like all good teachers should!)  But, as a stamper - I know it is time to start thinking about making this year's Christmas cards.  Stampin' Up! demonstrators get a sneak peek at the Holiday Catalog AND we get to order merchandise early to get a head start on classes.  I will be able to order from the holiday catalog on August 1 - a month earlier than customers.

So while I wait for the new stuff to arrive - here are some Christmas cards from the past.

I have these cards prepped and ready for you and a group of friends to make! Contact me if you would like to set up a private class to make these cards with a group of friends.  These are great for beginners - and pack a "punch" with the added felt embellishments.

If you would like to order your Christmas items early - then consider joining my Stampin' Up! team.  Through the end of July you can select $125 of Stampin' Up! merchandise and pay only $99 - with NO SHIPPING COSTS!!!!  And you get to choose an additional set of 10 ink pads for FREE!  This is a great opportunity - and you never have to sell anything!  You can continue to get the demonstrator discount on your own personal orders.  CLICK HERE for more details and to see other Stampin' Up! promotions.

Happy Birthday, my friend

I made this card for a friend who celebrated a milestone birthday last week.  Unfortunately, it is made with mostly retired Stampin' Up! products.  The only current products are Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock, Memento Ink, and the scattered Sequins embossing folder.  You can still make a card like this - just CONTACT ME to schedule a private class for you and your friends!
