September Stamp Club project #2

These are the mini backpacks my club members made at out meeting this month. Making these backpacks will give you a lot of practice using your paper trimmer! They are not hard to make, just a little time-consuming with all the details. We decided that if they were made in an assembly line, you could make them a lot faster. Some details to note....these were made using RETIRED designer series paper. A Build a Brad was used on the big flap, and a small brad was used on the small flap. We used Velcro circles to keep the flaps closed. I followed two different tutorials to make THIS version gives you the measurements for cutting the base (vs. using the template) but I like the way THIS tutorial uses one piece of ribbon. Thanks for looking!
