My Top Picks

The Seasonal Sale starts today, November 16, and runs through Thursday November 18.  During this sale you will receive:

10% off card stock
15% off ink pads
20% off dies

This sale applies to products from the Annual Catalog only.  If you place a minimum $25 you can choose a free surprise gift from me!

Now is the time to stock up on your favorite card stock colors - and grab some additional ink colors for your collection.

Below are my top picks for the dies you NEED to have, if you don't have them already.  Click on the links for more information about the products - and to add them to your shopping bag.

Please use the host code: AWDPPXPZ   if you place an online order, and to pick a prize ($25 minimum order.)

Stitched So Sweetly Dies  (Reg. $32/sale $25.60)   These dies are one of my "go to" dies when I want to add a layer or for adding sentiments.  Love the small scalloped edges and stitching.

Tasteful Labels Dies (Reg $31/sale $24.80)  This is a set that I grab if I want to add a sentiment to a card or scrapbook page.  Lots of different sizes and shapes - so many options!

Playful Alphabet (Reg $34/ sale $27.20)  This is a must have set for card makers and scrapbookers alike.  The letters are about 3/4 inches high, so they are perfect for adding words on card fronts.  And did you notice that there are TWO dies of several common letters - so it saves on the amount of times you need to crank your card stock through the die cutting machine.

Layering Circles (Reg $35/sale $28)  This is another MUST HAVE die set.  I love that I can cut a circle for a stamped image or sentiment, and then mat it on a scallop circle.  Super cute!

Tailor Made Tags (Reg $22/sale $17.60) I just bought this set recently, so I haven't use it that much - yet.  But it is great for making tags for gift bags and boxes, and for adding accents to card fronts and scrapbook pages.

Scalloped Contours (Reg $35/sale $28)  This is a set that I plan to purchase during the Seasonal Sale.  It has been on my list since the Annual Catalog went live.  I just love the scallop edges of the rectangle pieces.  This set does coordinate with the Color and Contour photopolymer stamp, but I think the dies will work with almost any project, for adding layers.

Ornate Frames (Reg $37/sale $27.20)  Look at all the dies you get in this set!  And those details are so fancy!  This set could be used to add layers to sentiments and small images.

Ornate Layers (Reg $37/sale $29.60)  Another great set of dies for adding FANCY edges to the layers on your cards.

Christmas Countdown - 7 weeks until Christmas

Here is a cute and very inexpensive gift that you can make for just about anyone on your list.  It is a coaster made using a miniature wooden pallet from the Dollar Tree, Designer Paper, and Mod Podge. I used some retired Stampin' Up! paper with a craft theme - since I made these coasters for several of my Stampin' Up! friends who are attending #OnStage At Home with me this weekend.

I cut the DSP to fit on each of the slats of the pallet. I used a foam brush and applied a thin layer of Mod Podge to the pallet.  (I was lucky enough to find a bottle at the Dollar Tree.)  Then I carefully applied each piece of DSP to the pallet, rubbed it to make sure it was glued down well and to remove any air bubbles.  I applied another thin coat of Mod Podge on top of the paper, making sure to cover the top of the coaster completely.  I allowed it to dry well - and then applied another layer of Mod Podge.  I let it dry and repeated the process several more times.  If I hadn't waited until the last minute to make these gifts - I would have applied a few more more layers of Mod Podge.

If you have any questions about how to make this project, please do not hesitate to CONTACT ME.

Tips for using Days to Remember stamp set

Here is an idea that I shared on a recent COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS post.  It is a cute desktop calendar that I made using the DAYS TO REMEMBER stamp set.  In the video below, I share the measurements for making this project and tips for using the stamp set.

To see the original video - showing all of the different months, CLICK HERE.

As you can see from the product list below - I used quite a few Stampin' Up! products to make the calendar.  Of course, you could use any supplies that you already have - but if you want to make one just like mine, I have a limited number of kits available for purchase and will be posting the details soon.

If you have any questions please CONTACT ME.
