Countdown to Christmas - 11 months!

I can hardly believe that it has already been one month since Christmas!  These are some of the 76 cards that I sent out to friends and family.  I wonder if I can make100 cards by next Christmas!

If you would like to get started making Christmas cards - I am here to help!  The cards above are made using products that are still available as "online exclusives" while supplies last.  That means they are not featured in any current catalog - but they are still available to purchase in the online store.  BUT you do not have to order them online.  CONTACT ME - and I can add them to my next order.

Measurements to make this card:

Card Base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
Designer Paper: 2-1/4 x 4-3/4
White card stock piece for the stamped image: 2-1/2 x 4
Black card stock mats: 2-1/2 x 5 and 2-3/4 x 4-1/4

To make this card, I stamped the truck on a scrap piece of white card stock, then punched it out using the Trucking Along Builder Punch.  I stamped the tree on the piece of white cardstock, then attached the truck over the image using glue dots.  You could just stamp the truck - but I liked the look of the added dimension with the truck being a punched out piece.

Other things to note:
  • I colored the truck, tree, and one mailbox using Stampin' Blends.
  • I used Black and White 1/4" gingham ribbon on these cards.
  • I used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the layer with the truck.
  • I couldn't decide whether I liked everything straight - or whether I liked tilting the cards a bit.

Here is another Christmas card using these products:

Measurements to make this card:

Card Base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
Designer Paper: 4 x 5 1/4
White card stock piece for the stamped image: 2-1/2 x 3-3/4
Card stock mat: 2-3/4 x 4

There are so many other uses for this stamp set - besides just Christmas. Here's one idea:

Measurements to make this card:

Card Base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
Blue card stock mat: 3 x 4-3/4
Crumb cake piece behind trucks: 2-3/4 x 4-1/2

Will You BEE Mine?

The very first stamp set I purchased from the Jan/Apr 2024 mini catalog was Bee My Valentine.  I usually don't like "bugs" on my cards - but this bee is sooooo cute that I couldn't resist.  I made these cards using the stamp set, along with the coordinating Bee Builder Punch and Bee Mine Designer Series Paper.

These Square Pillow Boxes are part of the Bee Mine Suite Collection of products.  They come flat, but score marks help you shape these - and the adhesive is already on them - so it makes assembling the boxes quick and easy!  The boxes are white, but for the yellow one I used a blending brush to add color.  The one on the right was wrapped with some of the designer paper - and I left the top open to make it more of a treat bag.  So many possiblities for these boxes - and they are a good size!

Here is a little treat box that I made using card stock and Designer Paper.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and had to give it a try.  It will fit 4 mini Reeses peanut butter cups and makes a cute sweet treat.

Order these products soon if you want to make some sweet Valentines!   Or add this bundle of products to your wish list.  This cute set can be used throughout the year to show your love to someone special!

Here are some of the products that I used to make these projects.  Click on any item for more information and to add it to your shopping cart!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2024!  I don't know what happened to 2023 but here I am AGAIN - at the beginning of a new year - hoping to get back to sharing my Stampin' Up! projects on a regular basis.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will bookmark my blog and visit often.  You can also find me on Facebook, You Tube, and Pinterest - but I hope to use my blog for sharing measurements and directions for making some of my projects.

For these New Year's cards I used a past Paper Pumpkin kit (July 2020: Summer Nights.)  I actually had this kit in my "Prize Box" to give away!  But when I went to make this card - it came to mind, and I pulled it out and this is what I came up using just one of the stamps in the kit.

As you can see - in one verson I included the year, die cut from a set of retired alphabet dies.  But we do have the Alphabet A La Mode dies in the 2023-24 annual catalog - which would work.

These cards are also made using three of the 2022-24 In Colors: Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, and Tahitian Tide - which will be retiring at the end of April.  If you like these bright, fun colors - be sure to purchase the ink pad, refills, card stock, and any Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and embellishments with these colors before they are gone!

You might think you have plenty of time to get these products - but as we get closer to April, the products will be while supplies last - and may not be available towards the end of the catalog selling period.

January is a great time to stock up on these items - because with each $50 purchase, you will be able to select a Sale-a-Bration for FREE!  I will post information on January 4, when the promotion begins.

Finally, I have a tip for you!  When you are finished with your Stampin' Dimensionals - don't throw away those bits from the edges!  They are great for popping up any elements on your card front - to give it extra dimension.  But they especially work great for smaller odd shaped pieces like the numbers on my card.

Once again - thanks for stopping by and here's wishing you a happy, healthy new year - full of stamping!
