Who likes FREE?!!!

Would you like to receive the stamp set OR designer series paper in the photo above - FREE from me?  Then here's what you need to do:

  • Join my LET'S STAMP A LITTLE Facebook Group
  • Find the pinned post with the same photo as the one you see above. (Or click on Announcements)
  • Post a photo of a project that you made using a Stampin' Up! floral stamp set or any Stampin' Up! floral Designer Series Paper - as a comment on that post.

That's it!  I will pick a winner next Sunday (June6) and announce the winner next Monday (June 7), after I return from my vacation.  So you have about a week to find something you have made, or create something new.  Please note that I will cut the paper to 6x6 if it needs to be shipped.

I am currently in Nashville, TN to attend the National Garden Railway Convention with my husband.  I will be teaching a class at the convention - where the participants will make a mini scrapbook for preserving memories of their trip.  You can see the album BY CLICKING HERE.

Tomorrow, June 1, the "Last Chance List" for products retiring from the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog will be announced.  Please visit my STAMPIN' UP! website (tomorrow) to see the items that will be retiring.  Many of them will be deeply discounted.  If you choose to place an online order, please use the hostess code: YG3EUB3X and I will send you a thank you card and small gift.  You may also email your order to me - but I may not be able to place your order until the evening, after I return from our daily excursions.  All of the retiring products will be "While Supplies Last" and some will sell out quickly.  I would not want you to miss out on anything that you really want!

If you have any questions do not hesitate to CONTACT ME..  I am here to help and will continue to check email and  FB messages when I can.

Pansy Petals

Here are several cards that I made using the 2021-2023 In Colors card stock & ribbon, and the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.  This paper coordinates perfectly with the new In Colors, and these cards came together quickly.

I started with a piece of Designer Series Paper, cut off a one inch piece and flipped it over to the other side.  The designs on the back are a more solid looking print - and coordinate perfectly with the front side.  I glued both pieces to a coordinating piece of card stock, wrapped ribbon around that layer - then layered it on to a card base.  I added a greeting stamped on Basic White and punched out with the Tailored Tag punch.  These were eally quick and easy cards that can be used for any occasion.

Below are up close photos of each card.

The card above has a Pale  Papaya layer and Evening Evergreen card base and ribbon.  The sentinemnt is from Dragonfly Garden.

The card above uses Evening Evergreen card stock for the mat, and Soft Succulent for the card base and ribbon.  The sentiment is from a new stamp set, Inspired Thoughts.

The card above uses a Basic White mat with Fresh Freesia card base.  The sentiment is from Free As a Bird.

The card above has a Basic White layer and Polished Pink card base.  The sentinment is from Best Year.

Finally, this card has a Basic White card stock layer and the card base is Pale Papaya.  The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts..

Making Memories Again

Watch the video to see a quick overview of a mini scrapbook I made to preserve memories from an upcoming trip to Nashville.  I am excited about teaching a clinic at the National Garden Railway Convention, where participants will be making a book like this.  Photos can be added after the convention is over.

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE CONVENTION AND WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE CLINIC -  SPACES  ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR BOTH THE WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY CLINIC.  CONTACT ME FOR DETAILS.

I used retired Designer Series paper to make these albums and several Cricut die cuts.  If you are interested in any of the elements you see on the pages, please CONTACT ME for pricing information.

I'm also excited about getting back to scrapbooking.  At the end of April, I went to my first scrapbook retreat in almost two years.  Six of us rented a retreat house in Pennsylvania - it was great to get away and craft.  I almost finished my daugher's birthday scrapbook; I just need to add a few dates and put the pages into page protectors.  I did a layout for each of her birthdays from age 1 - 18.  (Maybe I should mention that she just turned 27.)

I have such a hard time "doing it all" - so while I was prepping the supplies for the 26 albums I need for the clinic - I neglected to do my regular card making and videos.  In my defense, I also was caring for my dog, Cookie, before she passed away earlier this month.  In addition to 3 family birthdays in April and May, my son also graduated from the Virginia Military Institute on May 16 - and we were away for a long weekend of activites for that.

Hopefully, I will be able to get back to creating new projects and posting on a regular basis again. AND I hope to start "in person" classes soon.

BUT my husband and I have already planned two more vacations for this year, ordered tickets for 3 concerts, purchased season tickets to a local university theater, and we have tickets for several minor league baseball games.  SO, I may be a bit busy as I start doing more things out of the house!  I also have two more scrapbook retreats planned this year - and hope to organize one myself.  I need to learn how to manage my time better!

If you have any questions about the scrapbook - or anything about Stampin' Up!, do not hesitate to CONTACT ME..  I am here to help.

The New In Color Collection

These are the first cards I made with the new 2021-23 In Color Collection.  All of these colors are gorgeous in real life - and they work so well togehter.  These cards show you how well the card stock, ink, ribbon, and embellishements all match perfectly!

For all of  these cards, I started with a Basic White thick card base, then added a layer of  In Color card stock.  I cut a piece of Basic White card stock using the largest scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  The stamped images are from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.  I added ribbon and jewels to each card.

For this card I embossed the Polished Pink card stock layer using the Ornate Floral 3D embossing foler.

I did not use an embossing folder on the card on the left (Pale Papaya.)  For the card on the right (Fresh Freesia) I used the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

Finally, for the dark green (Evening Evergreen) card, I used the Evergreem Forest 3D embossing folder.  The greetings on these two cards are from a new stamp set called, Inspired Thoughts. The new light green color is called Soft Succulent.

I have made several more sets of cards using products from the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog - and I have an order in for even MORE new products.  So be sure to check back, or sign up to be notified when I post to my blog.

Below are products that I used to make these cards.  Click on any item to add it to your shopping cart or wish list.
