No Gnomes for Me!

Here are several cards that I made using the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! July-December 2022 mini catalog.  As you can see - there is not a Gnome in sight.  Below is a photo of this paper pack.

I just don't get the whole Gnome thing - but when I saw the BACK SIDES of this designer paper - I had to have it to make some Christmas/Winter cards.  I also used the Snowman Magic stamp set for the greetings on all of these cards.

Watch the short video below to see this DSP and for some tips and tricks for making these cards. (If you are viewing this in your email or on a mobile device  - you may need to click on the blog post title to load the video.)

Below are some of the cards I featured in the video:

This first card is super easy to make.  I started with a Thick Basic White card stock card base.   I used a piece of 3x5 DSP and cut off 1 inch from each end - and spread the pieces apart. I stamped a greeting and added some embellishments - and I was done!  Super quick and easy!

Here is another quick and easy card to make.  I have made this card design many times - but it always looks different depending on which paper and greetings I used.  It is a great way to showcase the coordinating DSP.  I will feature this card and several others I made using the basic design in a future blog post.  So be sure to subscribe to get the blog posts sent to your email!

Here are three cards that I made at the same time!  What a great way to make a lot of cards - and you can still make them all look different depending on the DSP, greetings, and embellishments you use.  I picked three different patterns of paper, cut them 4 x 5-1/4, and then stacked them together and cut them all at once, making two diagonal cuts across the paper.  I mixed the different pattens on each card and added the greetings and embellishments for unique cards.
