You can find this stamp set in the 2021-22 Annual Catalog.  This year's holiday catalog won't be availabe until August - so if you would like to get a head start with making your Christmas cards - this is a great set to choose.

If you see something you like, please CONTACT ME for more information.  You can purchse the products you need in my ONLINE STORE or I can also sell you card kits.  I would cut the card bases and all the pieces for you - so all you need to do is stamp and assemble.  Pricing depends on which cards you want to make, and how many.  If you are local to me, you can also come over and I will help you make the cards!  It can't get much easier than that!  Or gather your friends together and make it more fun, by making cards together!

One of the cards I featured in the video is a card that I made several years ago.  It is one of my most  watched videos on You Tube.  You can see that video below.

Countdown to Christmas - 6 months

Can you believe it?  Christmas will be here in 6 short months!  I have been playing with the "Snowman Season" stamp set, which returned to the Stampin' Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  I just love making cards with snowmen - and this stamp set has so many possibilities.

After a little searching for inspiration on Pinterest, I started making cards using this stamp set, which you can see in the photo above. I pulled out the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper from last year's holiday mini to make some of the cards.  This DSP will be available again, with the next mini - in August.  But any paper with a small pattern would work for these cards.

Be sure to visit my blog on Monday - when I will have a short video showing you all these cards, pointing out some of the details.  There will be cards for beginners - and most will be easy to mass produce if you would like to make them to send to your friends and family.  I have a few with some special techniques, for those of you who are looking to "step it up" a bit and try something new.

Make this the year you stamp hand made cards to send and let me show you how easy it can be!

Please CONTACT ME if you have questions.

VISIT MY ONLINE STORE to see current Stampin' Up! specials.  Many items from the "last chance" are discounted up to 50%.  Those items are available while supplies last - through June 30th only.

If you receive my blog updates in your email - pleae note that I am working to have them delivered using Mail Chimp, since Blogger decided to stop the email delivery service (beginning in July.)

Quick and Easy Thank You Cards

These are some of the Thank You cards that I made - after I returned from my trip to Nashville. I plan to send a personal, handwritten note to each person who attended my mini scrapbook class that I taught at the National Railway Convention.  I am also planning to send one to each family who allowed us to visit their Garden Railways.

For those of you who may not know about Garden Trains - these are large scale trains that people set up in their back yards.  Below are a few photos that I took of some of the layouts.  Some of the displays were just amazing!  My husband decided this would be a good retirement hobby, and is currently building a layout in our back yard.

CLICK HERE to see the mini scrapbook that the ladies made at my class.

Below are a few of the cards I made, using the leftover "scraps" from the scrapbook.  The designer paper has long since retired - but I thought the "grungy" look was perfect for a train scrapbook.  As you can see, they all look different - depending on the card base and DSP I used. Because the cards were made with Stampin' Up! supplies, the color coordination between the patterned paper and card stock is PERFECT!

Basic Directions for Making these Cards:
  • Card stock card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
  • Designer Series Strips: 1-1/4 x 4 (you will need three pieces)
  • Cardstock strip: 1/2 x 4-1/4
  • Basic White 2" card stock circle for stamped image
  • Sunburst punch (retired) for coordinating card stock behind stamped image

If you have any questions about the card or scrapbook - or anything about Stampin' Up!, do not hesitate to CONTACT ME..  I am here to help.
