Easy "Double Z" Fun Fold Card - video tutorial

 

This is one of the cards that we made at a recent stamp class. It is a Double Z fun fold card that will amaze the recipient, and yet it is surprisingly easy to make.  Below is a video showing how I made the  card.  At the end of the video I show 8 additional cards that I made using the Hues of Happines suite of products from the 2022-23 Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up!

Measurements for making the Double Z fold card:.

• ·         Card base: 5 ½ x 8 ½ scored at 2 1/8 & 4 ¼
• ·         Designer Paper pieces for above: 1 7/8 x 5 ¼ (two of them) & 4 x 5 ¼
• ·         Card stock for folding piece: 3 ½ x 7; scored at 3 ½ x 5 5/8
• ·         Basic White card stock for stamped images: 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ , 1 7/8 x 3 ¼ , & 1 1/8 x 3 ¼
• ·         Basic White card stock for back of card: 4 x 5 ¼
• ·         Scrap of Basic White to stamp an additional floral image

Below are cards that I made using the Lights Aglow designer paper pack from Stampin' Up!  (available through December 2022)  These are made the same way as the cards in the video - but using the different paper, greetings and labels gives a different look.  This paper has shiny gold accents - and the cards are much more BEAUTIFUL in real life!

If you aren't ready to make Christmas cards yet - you can still make this kind of card for any occassion.  The cards below are made using He's the Man designer paper - which includes the die cut labels I used on the front of these cards..

Measurements for making these Fun Fold Cards:

Card Stock Base: 4-1/4" x 11"; scored at 5-1/2"  Then cut off 2-3/4 inches to use as a mat for the "flap"

Designer Series Paper: 2-1/2" x 4"  You will need two pieces (different patterns) to make one card

Whisper White for inside card: 4' x 5-1/4"
