Here is a card that I made using a card sketch. I just recently inked up the SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE stamp set - because I thought it was retiring and wanted to show my customer group what a great stamp set it is. But - I think it may be sticking around a little while longer - because I did not see it on the last chance list. Yay! It's a great set - and the SPOTLIGHT ON NATURE DIES are amazing. They could be used with almost any stamp set on any card.
Basic Directions for making this card (measurements in inches):
- Fresh Freesia card stock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
- White layer/embossed using Exposed Brick embossing folder: 4 x 5-1/4
- 3 strips of Subtles Designer Series Paper: 5/8 x 4-1/2 (on the Last Chance List)
- Circle cut from Spotlight on Nature dies
- Flower image is stamped on Thick Basic White card stock (using Fresh Freesia ink) and "fussy cut"
- Greeting is from the Textured Floral stamp set (on the Last Chance List)
- Brass Butteflies
Here is a close up showing the embossing folder detail. This card is stunning - and really quick easy to make!
