Trusty Toolbox

One of my favorite products from the Jan/Feb 2024 Sale-a-Bration brochure is the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper.  These cards were made using the paper - along with the Trusty Tools bundle from the Jan/April 2024 mini catalog from Stampin' Up!  The best thing about the paper is - it is FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! order (through February 29,2024 or while supplies last.)

I love this bundle of products so much - because my husband is very handy, has lots of tools, and so I will be able to make some great cards for him.  PLUS we recently renovated our kitchen - and I will be able to use the stamp set and Designer Paper to scrapbook that major event in our lives.

Besides the cards in the photo above, I also made two extra special cards.  The first is this card - with a 3D tool box.

I cut the tool box from Copper Clay card stock using the dies, and embossed it with the Timber 3D embossing folder.  I added sides to the tool box - so that it pops away from the front of the card.  The tools were cut from the Designer Paper - and attached to the tool box with glue dots.  The cool trick here is that I used some of the partial pictures of tools from the edges of the paper! This would make a great gift card holder - you could tuck a gift card Lowe's or Home Depot right in the toolbox!

Here is another card I made using these products:

I made this type of "bench" card a few years ago - and knew it would work perfectly for a tool bench.  I just love the way it turned out.  The red part of the card is actually one of the pieces of designer paper - couldn't get any easier.  I made the peg board using one of the coordinating Trusty Tools dies - but there is also a piece of Designer Paper that looks like pegboard - which would make the card even easier to make.

Here is my original card:

And here is the video for how to make a bench type card:

And here is my kitchen.

Isn't is gorgeous?  I can't wait to scrapbook the renovation!

Thanks for stopping by!
