Saturday Sketch #28

 

Here is this week's "Saturday Sketch" card.  When I first saw the sketch - I thought it had too many layers and too many pieces.  I changed a few things - but I still ended up with 5 layers - like the sketch!  And I think it looks great!

Below is the sketch that I used to make the card.  

Measurements for making this card (inches):

• Early Espresso card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
• Daffodil Delight card stock piece: 2-1/2 x 5
• Floral DSP layer: 3-1/2 x 4-1/2
• Early Espresso card stock mat for behind sentiment: 1-1/2 x 2-1/2
• Basic White piece for stamping sentiment and floral images: 1-3/8 x 2-3/8
• Daffodil Delight card stock strip: 4 x 1/2 (embossed with Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder)

In case you were wondering..... the small sunflower stamp came from the stamp set Fun for Fall.
