Saturday Sketch #20

 Here is this week's "Saturday Sketch" card. I made this card using the Velvet Meadow 12" x 12" Specialty Paper - a beautiful pack of paper that features soft white flocking on some of the patterns.  The stamped greeting is from the Exciting TImes stamp set.

Below is the sketch that I used to make the card.  

Measurements for making this card (inches):

• Thick Basic White card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
• Berry Burst card stock layer: 2 x 5
• Floral DSP layer: 3-1/2 x 4-1/2
• Garden Green card stock strip: 3 x 3/4
• Basic White piece for stamped greeting: 2-1/2 x 1
• Garden Green die cut piece for accent (retired Paper Pumpkin die set)

Saturday Sketch #14

 

For this week's sketch card I used the EXCITING TIMES bundle and the BRIGHTS PAINTED PATTERNS 12X12 Designer Series Paper from the May/August 2026 Stampin' Up! catalog. 

The bundle includes a stamp set and Rounded Rectange punch - great for making quick and easy cards.  

The Painted Patterns paper is available in every Stampin' Up! color family - and the 2026-2028 In Color Collection.  This is a great way to make sure you have patterned paper in all of your favorite colors.

I copied an idea I saw in the catalog - and stamped the small "Let's Celebrate" on each of the large polka dots on the patterned paper.

Below is the sketch I used to make today's card.

Measurements for making this card (inches):

• Thick Basic White card stock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2; scored at 4-1/4
• CoastalCabana card stock mats: 4 x 4-1/4 & 3 x 4-3/4 
• Striped Patterned Paper: 3-3/4 x 4
• Large Dot Patterned Paper: 2-3/4 x 4-1/2
• Coastal Cabana scrap to punch rectangle and 1-1/4 circle (emboss and then cut in half and attach to both sides of the rectangle punch piece.
