8 Months until Christmas!

I usually post a Christmas card on the 25th of each month and challenge you to get start on making your Christmas cards now - so you can avoid the rush later in the year.

I do have one Christmas card here to show you, along with the other cards that we made at my stamp club classes this past weekend,  I have some extra supplies left over, so........if you missed club, or have always wanted to try stamping - now is your chance to give it a try!

I will be at Providence Square Grill TONIGHT - Monday, April 25, from 5:30 - 8.  Come grab a bite to eat - then stay and make one or more of these cards FOR FREE!  Come see how easy it is to make a beautiful hand crafted card and how much fun we have when we get together to stamp.

If you are a regular Paper Pumpkin subscriber - grab your kit and come get your projects put together!  Not sure what Paper Pumpin' is?  I'll be happy to tell you all about it- and show you projects from past kits.

Countdown to Christmas - 6 months!

Can you believe it?  Only six more months until Christmas.  On the 25th of each month, I have been posting a Christmas card and suggesting that you make a few cards each month, so you will be ready to send them out when the busy holiday season gets here.

This month's card is made with the White Christmas stamp set by Stampin' Up!  I was so excited to see that a few Christmas sets were included in the new annual catalog.  This is one that was carried over from last year's holiday catalog.

I stamped the car and tree images on the new 100lb. weight Whisper White card stock using Stazon ink.  I colored the images using a blender pen and Stampin' Up! ink pads.  I used a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge to make the lines on the Soft Suede banner.  I made the banner using the new Triple Banner Punch.  The greeting is from Petite Pairs.  I did use a retired snowflake stamp and Versamark ink, to stamp on the Old Olive card base.

This was a quick and easy card to make.  I will be making a handful of these to go with the cards I made throughout the year.  Click on the name of the month to see the other Christmas cards I have been working on this year.:

Something for Baby

How cute is this card?!  I made it for a baby who is due any day now!  I used the brand new stamp set Something for Baby and coordinating framelits dies to make this card.  I "CASED" the idea from Deb Valder.  I think we will make this card at my June stamp club meetings.  This card is actually fairly easy to make, and having the framelits makes it a lot easier - no fussy cutting involved!  This card does fold up flat, but you will have to make your own envelope since it is a little too big to fit in a regular sized envelope.

Visit my MY STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE to shop 24/7 and to view this month's stamping events.  This weekend I have 3 FREE stamping sessions.  Space is limited, so please RSVP to get your preferred spot.

Moving Forward

This was the SWAP card I made for a team meeting back in March.  I used the stamp set "Moving Forward".  It will only be available through the end of the month, before it retires.  A portion of the sale price of this set is donated to Ronald McDonald Charities.  The words on this card are from the Petite Pairs stamp set.
