Thanks

These are some of the thank you notes I made to give to the parents who did so much for Teacher Appreciation Week at the preschool where I teach.  They gave us a pizza lunch, snacks, breakfast, more snacks, doughnuts, a gift box full of our favorite things, and take home boxes for the cookies and brownies that were sent in on Friday. We really felt the love and I wanted to make sure that they knew we appreciated them!  These cards are made with new products from the NEW Stampin' Up! annual catalog. This Designer Series Paper is fabulous - extra thick and sturdy enough to use as a card base.  This is one of the cards you can make at my Catalog Kickoff event on Saturday June 16.  CLICK HERE for more information and to RSVP.

One of the moms, who just happens to be one of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers, decorated every teacher's classroom door. What a fun surprise that was!  Below is my door:
I wished I had taken photos of the other doors - they were all different and some were out of this world (literally!)  Our last day of school was on June 1, and I left my door looking like this.  I wasn't going to take it down!  And would you believe only one pack of Smarties was taken (and later found - unopened.)

Time To Say Goodbye

I can hardly believe it, but in a few days (Monday, April 9) Stampin' Up! will be announcing the list of retiring stamps and products.  One thing we know for sure is that we will be saying Goodbye to the 2016-2018 In Colors.  These products are always the first to sell out - especially the ink refills.  So if you love these colors - be sure to stock up on the card stock, Designer Series Paper with any of these colors, and all ribbons and embellishments.  But especially make sure to order the ink refill NOW!

Below are several cards made using these beautiful colors.  I will miss them all - but I look forward to seeing the NEW InColors collection, which will be in the new annual catalog - coming June 1.

The card below uses all 5 of the retiring In Colors:  Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, and Peekaboo Peach.

The card below uses all of the retiring colors except for Flirty Flamingo.

The cards below use Peekaboo Peach as the main color for the card.

Hold on to Hope

This is a beautiful card that I made a few weeks ago when I got together with several stamping friends for a fun day of stamping.  We each brought 3 projects for the others to make.  This is one that Martha Armstrong taught us how to make.  It is called a bridge card and it is surprisingly EASY to make.  It folds up to fit in a regular sized envelope for mailing.  It is made using the Hold On to Hope stamp set and coordinating thinlit dies.  They are found in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog.  Just a beautiful bundle of products and a great one to share with you on this day after Easter.
