Birthday Gift Bag

Three of the children in my preschool class will be turning 4 years old this week.  This is the gift bag I made for Katherine, whose birthday we will celebrate today.  I started with a white gift bag that I purchased at the craft store.  I cut a piece of card stock to fold over the top - so she can't peek in until she gets home!  I used the modern label punch to cut out a section to fit over the handles.  I was just going to make the banner, then decided to stamp some flowers on the bag to coordinate with the Designer Series Paper I used in the banner.
This is a close up of the banner.  I used the Bow Builder punch to make the bow.  (The number 4 was cut using a retired Bigz Die.)

This is the card that I will put inside the bag with a few goodies for the Birthday Girl.  I thought I was being clever this summer when I made enough of these candle cards for my entire class.  But now I wish I would have waited and used colors that coordinated with the bag.  I made the candles using scraps of retired paper - so I didn't have any left to decorate the gift bag.  Oh well, I'm sure Katherine won't notice!

My stamp club classes are coming up this weekend.  Please CLICK HERE to visit my calendar of events and to RSVP.
