Zoom! Birthday Bingo Bash

It's been a week since I held my Birthday Bingo Bash on Zoom! It was only my second zoom class - but other than a few sound issues - it went well and I know I had fun! Hope everyone else did, too.!  In addition to local friends, I had friends from Illinois, Texas, and Pennsylvania join in on the fun.

We made 3 birthday cards, a little treat box, and we played 5 games of Bingo.  You can see the cards we mady BY CLICKING HERE  Below is the treat box we made, using half of an acetate box, sold by Stampin' Up!  I just added some Designer Series paper, layering ovals, a diecut, and ribbon.
Here are the BINGO prizes that were chosen - I had 10 to choose from - so that the winners would (hopefully) be happy with their prizes!

The winner of the last game won a $50 gift certificate!
I am planning another BINGO for sometime in October.  Be sure to follow my blog, FB page, and/or sign up for my monthly newsletter - so you will know when I schedule events.  I will be doing ZOOM classes at least through the end of the year - so you can attend from anywhere in the USA.

Celebrate!

These are cards that we made at my birthday bash last year.  I wasn't able to hold my annual birthday bash this year because I am away at a scrap booking retreat.

This is the house where 11 of us will be spending the weekend - working on our scrapbooks and other projects.  I already finished 3 pages.  You can see them on my Facebook Business Page HERE  While you are there be sure to like my page so you can keep up with all my paper crafting projects.

Here is the car packed with all our stuff for the weekend.  Do you think we packed enough?!  Our tables are in groups of 3 or 4.

Here is the great room upstairs and my bed - if I ever make it upstairs!

This house is decorated so thoughtfully - really cute.

Finally, you can't have a birthday without cake and ice cream.  Can you tell that is my sister standing behind me?!   Four of us who arrived a day early enjoyed the ice cream cake on the front porch - then it was back to work fun!

Monday's Mail

These are the cards I sent to friends last week.  I am trying my best to actually SEND some of the cards that I make and/or receive in swaps. These cards are made using retired stamp sets and Designer Series Paper.
The card above was given to me by a demonstrator friend, Carolyn Patterson, who came to one of my stamp classes.  This card was made using the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  I love this paper - it makes quick and easy cards that look BEAUTIFUL!

Happy Birthday, my friend

I made this card for a friend who celebrated a milestone birthday last week.  Unfortunately, it is made with mostly retired Stampin' Up! products.  The only current products are Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock, Memento Ink, and the scattered Sequins embossing folder.  You can still make a card like this - just CONTACT ME to schedule a private class for you and your friends!

Celebrate Today

The cards I am sharing today were made using another Stampin' Up! stamp set that will be retiring in May.  The stamp set is called, "Celebrate Today."  I am sad to see this set retire.  It makes cute birthday cards, but it can also be used for babies, weddings, and graduations.  The card above also using one of my favorite punches - the owl builder punch - which is also on the retiring list.  I hate to see all these products retire - but it has to happen in order to make room for NEW products.

Below is another birthday card made with the "Celebrate Today" stamp set.

Happy Easter & a Sad Good-bye

He is Risen!
May this Easter Day bring you lots of joy and happiness!

Starting today I am posting cards made with some of my favorite stamp sets that are on Stampin' Up!'s retiring list.  The cards today all use the Petite Petals stamp set.  Although Stampin' Up! has a lot of flower sets - this was always one of my favorites because of the coordinating punch (which is also retiring.) Below are more made using the Petite Petals stamp set.

The card below is one of my all time favorites that I made using the Petite Petals stamp set and Flower Shop stamp set (not retiring!)

Two of these cards use Sale-a-Bration products that you can only earn for FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! order.  The Thank You card is made using the So Very Much stamp set and the balloon card was made using the Carried Away Designer Series Paper.

4 Days Left to Earn FREE Products!

banner_SAB2017_demo_Dec0116

Click on the image above to learn more about how to earn FREE Stampin' Up! products - with each $50 purchase.  Friday is the last day to earn these products - so each day this week I am featuring one of the FREE products.

Today's projects use the Carried Away Designer Series Paper.
The stampers who came to my January classes chose to make one of these cards as their FIFTH card.  Usually we make two cards and one "3D" project - but in January  I was so excited about all the new products in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog and the FREE Sale-a-bration items - that we made FIVE cards at each of my classes.

You can see the cards we made using the Dragon Fly Dreams stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies if you check out older blog  posts.

These cards were made with the Lift me Up stamp set and coordinating dies.  You can save 10%  if you bundle the items together!  I just LOVE these products.  The thinlits make it easy to cut own the different colors for the large hot air balloon.  I actually cut out all the pieces at one time using one color - then repeated for each of the colors.  That way I could mix and match the shapes and colors and could make several of the hot air balloons.

The designer seriees paper in the background is a Sale-a- bration item that you can only receive for FREE -  with a $50 order.  Sale-a-bration ends March 31, so there is not much time left to get this fabulous paper!

CLICK HERE to see the items you can earn for FREE (with each $50 purchase - before S/H & tax) through March 31 or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

These are the projects we made at my July stamp club classes.  I couldn't decide whether to continue my birthday celebration or to celebrate Christmas is July.  So I did a little bit of both.  We made shaker cards, and some cute cards featuring Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Designer Series Paper.  Everyone loved learning how to make those puffy balloons that pop off the card!  And, as always, we made 3D item - this time a little candy treat!

Birthday Card Prize and Winner!

My last two blog posts featured the beautiful cards that I received for my birthday last month.  I numbered the cards from 1 to 10 and used random.org to pick the winner of the YUMMY prize pictured below.
It is a birthday cake mix that you can make in a mug in the microwave in about a minute!  Below is a picture of the gift wrapped with some Stampin' Up! ribbon and ready to present to the winner!

The winning card was number 5 and the winner's card is pictured below!
This may seem "fixed" but I guarantee that the winner was chosen totally at random.  This card was made by my sister, Donna, who is also one of my team members.  She lives in Pennsylvania  (and I live in Virginia.)  It just so happens that I will be visiting her August 4 - 8 and helping her with an all day stamping event she is hosting on Saturday, August 6.  So I will get to deliver this to her in person!  And hopefully, I will have lots of pictures to share with you about the event when I get back!

It sure was fun to receive each one of these beautiful, hand made birthday cards  - as well as the other cards that came from a store!  It's just fun getting snail mail that's not a bill or junk.

Below are five beautiful cards that I received for my birthday last month.  I was very excited every time one of these beauties showed up in my mailbox - or when it was handed to me in person.  I might not have received all these beautiful cards if I hadn't assigned it as "homework" to my stamp club members in June!

Check back to see the rest of the cards I received.
