Watch this short video to see what comes in the Remembering Christmas Kit - an online exclusive item that you may not have seen. This kit makes a great gift idea for beginner crafters - everything is included to make a cute album - with room for lots of photos. Experienced crafters will love all the ways they can use the supplies in the kit to complete the album and use leftovers for other projects.
Below is a photo of the kit and its contents.

Yesterday, I returned from a week's vacation to Nashville, where I also taught two sessions of a mini scrapbook class at the National Garden Railway Convention. It was the first time I taught classes in person for over a year! It was soooooo much fun and I think everyone had a great time. CLICK HERE to see a short video of the album.
I think I am ready to start having classes again - here in my craftroom - so be sure to stay tuned for details!
In the meantime, be sure to visit my STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE to see the current promotions, including items up to 50% off from the "Last Chance List."
Watch the video to see a quick overview of a mini scrapbook I made to preserve memories from an upcoming trip to Nashville. I am excited about teaching a clinic at the National Garden Railway Convention, where participants will be making a book like this. Photos can be added after the convention is over.
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE CONVENTION AND WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE CLINIC - SPACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR BOTH THE WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY CLINIC. CONTACT ME FOR DETAILS.
I used retired Designer Series paper to make these albums and several Cricut die cuts. If you are interested in any of the elements you see on the pages, please CONTACT ME for pricing information.
I'm also excited about getting back to scrapbooking. At the end of April, I went to my first scrapbook retreat in almost two years. Six of us rented a retreat house in Pennsylvania - it was great to get away and craft. I almost finished my daugher's birthday scrapbook; I just need to add a few dates and put the pages into page protectors. I did a layout for each of her birthdays from age 1 - 18. (Maybe I should mention that she just turned 27.)
I have such a hard time "doing it all" - so while I was prepping the supplies for the 26 albums I need for the clinic - I neglected to do my regular card making and videos. In my defense, I also was caring for my dog, Cookie, before she passed away earlier this month. In addition to 3 family birthdays in April and May, my son also graduated from the Virginia Military Institute on May 16 - and we were away for a long weekend of activites for that.
Hopefully, I will be able to get back to creating new projects and posting on a regular basis again. AND I hope to start "in person" classes soon.
BUT my husband and I have already planned two more vacations for this year, ordered tickets for 3 concerts, purchased season tickets to a local university theater, and we have tickets for several minor league baseball games. SO, I may be a bit busy as I start doing more things out of the house! I also have two more scrapbook retreats planned this year - and hope to organize one myself. I need to learn how to manage my time better!
If you have any questions about the scrapbook - or anything about Stampin' Up!, do not hesitate to CONTACT ME.. I am here to help.

On FRIDAY'S BLOG POST I gave you a sneak peek at this album, made with the Whale of a Time Designer Series paper, which is currently ON SALE.
Here is a video showing how the album flips open.
This is the project we will be making at my October class for Chesapeake Parks and Rec. It will be an "in person" class at the Rokeby Center - which has a large space with plenty of room for social distancing. The class size is limited to 10 and the class will not involve any sharing of supplies - all in the name of safety. Bring photos to class and learn how to crop and mat them . Or you can add photos later.
All class attendees will receive half a package of the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper and all the supplies needed to make the flip album. Everything will be cut to size - to make an album exactly like mine. If you attend the class - you are free to substitute any of the designer papers to make it your own! You will have LOTS of paper left over to use for other projects. Check out my PINTEREST BOARD to see the ideas I have for using this paper.
Here are photos of the inside of the album:
Below are close ups up the photo mats.
The original designer of this album is Audra Monk (The Crafty Yogi) but I did make a few changes to save some designer paper and to make it a little easier for beginner crafters to assemble.
If you live in Chesapeake, VA or the surrounding cities, I hope you will give this class a try. Invite a friend to join you for a fun night out.
Selected packs of Designer Series Paper will be 15% off the entire month of October.
You can see which patterns are on sale by CLICKING HERE
One package that is on sale is the Whale of a Time 6x6 paper. I made a cute Flip Photo album using this paper. If you live in or near Chesapeake, VA you can make this cute flip album at my October Parks and Rec "in person" class. More detailed information with a link to register will be posted on Monday.
Here is a sneak peek at the album.
The photo on the left shows the front of the album, and the photo on the right shows the album with the first flap opened. The picture below shows the back of the album. Isn't this some of the cutest paper EVER?!
I will be posting a video showing how this album flips open - tomorrow in my Let's Stamp a Little private Facebook group, as part of World Card Making Day fun..You can CLICK HERE to join the group. I will also be making a quick and easy card, sharing 12 cards that I made using the SNOW WONDER stamp set, selling some retired product, and more. I hope you will stop by - make a card - and then send a card!
