August Stamp Club Project

Yes - this is the 3D project we made at my August stamp club meetings - a tea bag treat holder.  I am a little behind on posting my projects because of some end of summer fun and getting back into school/teaching mode.  My "real" job is teaching preschool,  so I took some time at the end of August to relax before I had to go back to the classroom.

This cute little treat bag holds cookies, tea bags, and a 3x3 card - a cute gift to give someone who needs a pick me up.  Or just a nice way to let someone know you are thinking about them.

Below is a side view - if you look closely, you can see two Girl Scout cookies in the bag.  If I was making this for a gift, I would bake my own cookies.  But we used the GS cookies in club - just to get the idea.  The plastic bags are food safe and sold by Stampin' Up!

Below is the back of the holder - which can hold one or two tea bags.

And below are two more samples of 3x3 cards that could go in the front pocket.

Don't forget our current Paper Pumpking special:
Click the Paper Pumpkin link at the top or bottom of the page if you would like to subscribe.

VISIT MY STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE to shop 24/7 and to view my calendar of events.

This Saturday is my annual Get a Jump on Your Jingle Christmas card making event.  Please RSVP if you plan to come so that I will have enough cards for you to make.

Thanks for stopping by!

3x3 Easter Thanks

These are 3x3 cards that I made to stick in the bags with my customers' orders this month.
Supplies used to make the cards:
Whisper White or Very Vanilla card stock
Crosses of Hope (retired) and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets
Designer Frames Folders
Perfect Plum ink

I tried two ways to make the card.  The first time I embossed the card and then stamped the cross inside the frame.  The second time I stamped the cross first and embossed second.  I was not very good at getting the cross in the center of the frame!  I was in a hurry because Mr. Brown will be delivering another Stampin' Up! order TOMORROW!!!

PLEASE CLICK HERE to see my club meeting dates/times for March.

Check back because I am trying to add another date, since this will be the last club meeting during Sale-a-bration.  I just have to find a time that doesn't conflict with my teaching/church/Ben's soccer commitments!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
