Envelope Punch Board Treat Box with video tutorial

I made these little treat boxes for everyone who attended a Stampin' Up! team meeting on Saturday.  They were really quick and easy to make using the Envelope Punch Board.  A few people asked for directions, so I thought I would make a quick video. The Punch Board is actually on the clearance rack!  So if you don't own a punch board - now is the time to get one at a big savings!  Items on the Clearance Rack are only available while supplies last.

This is a close up of the box - it shows off the ADORABLE new Designer Series Paper, Birthday Bonanza.  Inside each box was an Adhesive Eraser.  This is a tool every crafter should have.  Stampin' Up! no longer sells them but I was lucky enough to find them at the Dollar Tree of all places!

Below is the video tutorial for this project.  Watch to the end to see all of the patterns in the package of Birthday Bonanza paper pack!

Basic Instructions for treat box:

Cut card stock to 6x6 inches
Using Envelope Punch Board, punch and score card stock at 2 1/8 and 3 7/8
Rotate Cardstock and punch/score the three other sides

Cut Designer Series Paper at 2 x 7 1/2 inches
Score at: 1 1/4 ,  2 1/2,  5,  6 1/4 inches
Punch each end of the DSP using the Scallop Tag Topper punch

Wrap DSP around the treat box
Thread ribbon through holes in both ends of DSP and tie a knot/bow

Stamp Club "Thank You" Gift

I really enjoy holding my Stamp Club meetings each month.  I have even added some morning times this summer and so I have been able to have more people join me for some stamping fun!  As a way to show my appreciation, I have a little gift for everyone who takes the time to attend a meeting.

At my July meetings, each person who attended chose one of these boxes.  They were filled with odds and ends, including ribbon, bows, paper scraps, sponges, brads, Dazzling Details, and more!  The box is super easy to make.

Start with a 6x6 piece of Designer Series Paper.  Using THE ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD, punch and score at 2 and 4 inches on all sides.  You will have to make cuts along some of the score lines to fold up the box.

I punched a hole in each top flap and threaded ribbon through. You do not even need to glue the box together if you are using ribbon.  You could also fold the box flat, glue it together, and wrap it with the ribbon or top it off with a flower or bow.

You Can Never Have Too Much Happy!

I held my first stamp club meetings of the year earlier this month.  It was great to see everyone again and to get back to stamping with friends.  The first project we made was a 3 x 6 card using the V- Latch technique.  We also used the Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope that would fit this size card.  I received the Yippee Skippee stamp set at Convention last summer and decided it was time to open it up and use it! Below are some of the other samples I made.

We used Versamark to ink a pattern on the inside of the card, with part of it showing when the card is closed.  I hope you can see from the photo below how this card works.

Contact me if you would like to learn more about my stamp clubs.  There is no long term commitment.  Just pay a $7 materials fee, or place a $15 minimum order at each meeting you attend.  Order consistently and you can earn FREE MERCHANDISE.

Thanks for stopping by today.
