Something for Baby

Today I will be attending a baby shower and this is the card that I made.  There were 12 of us that went together on a gift, so when I saw this card on Pinterest (Brianna Thompson), I new it would be perfect for allowing everyone to write a personal note on the back.  Below is the back of the card (before everyone had a chance to sign it.)

PLEASE CONTACT ME if you would like more information about making this card.

Gather a few of your friends together for a private class and let me show you how to make this and other cards for FREE, with a minimum Stampin' Up! order.

Homework!

When I have my monthly stamp club classes, I will often give my attendees homework.  This is one way to keep them stamping in between our meetings.  CLICK HERE TO SEE JANUARY'S ASSIGNMENT.  Below are photos of the homework that was completed and brought to our February  meetings.

Just a quick note about #2.  She cut 12 sheets of Designer Series Paper to fit inside the protector and plans to change out the paper each month.

Please vote for your favorite by leaving a comment.  I will have a special prize for the project that gets the most votes.  I will also have a little surprise for everyone who turned in their assignment, at our March meetings!

Big Day Stamp Club Cards

Here are more cards that we made at last month's stamp club classes.  I CASED (Copy And Share Everything) this card from Pinterest.  There are several versions of this card floating around the internet.  I made a few changes to a card made by Helen Heil.  Below is another card I made - just changed the colors and turned the card horizontally.

 A few things to note:

The confetti was made using the Confetti Stars Border Punch.  I punched card stock scraps until I had as much as I wanted.

I adhered a piece of window sheet over the confetti.  You will want to make sure that the window sheet is adhered securely to the card front.  (Use liquid Tombow, Fast Fuse, or Sticky Strip.)

Washi tape was layered around the window sheet - half on the window sheet and half on the card front.  Rub the washi tape to make sure it stays down.  (You may even want to run a fine line of adhesive under the washi tape so it doesn't pull up.)

I used the Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Big Day, to make this card.  This is a set you can get for FREE, with a $50 order!  I stamped the "Celebrate your Big Day with Cake" once on a piece of Whisper White card stock (cut out using circle framelit) and one time on a scrap of coordinating card stock.  You only need the word "celebrate' on the colored scrap, and then it is cut out using Paper Snips.  Layer the colored card stock "celebrate" over the original stamped image using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The letters in Birthday and Cake were colored with Stampin' Write markers.

Then I just made a tag using the Happy Birthday stamped piece.

This was a fun card to make and a good way to use some of the washi tape I have been collecting!

Painted Petals - Stamp Club Cards

We made these cards at my February stamp club meetings using the Painted Petals stamp set from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions catalog.  Items in this catalog are available through June 2, 2015.  We used the photopolymer version of this set, which I think makes it the easiest to line up the flowers and stems for a perfect image.  Watch THIS YOU TUBE VIDEO to see how to easily line up the stamps.

Stampin' Up! Supplies used to make this card:
Stamp Set: Painted Petals
Card stock, Ink, Ribbon colors: Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Whisper White
Accessories: Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
