Saturday Sketch

Here's another card I made using the Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper . This paper is an online Exclusive product and is part of an entire suite of products.  Stampin' Up! is also offering a class using this suite.  

This paper is so much prettier in real life.  I just love the subtle florals in this paper - perfect for any season and any occasion.  You can see two other cards that I made using this paper by clicking HERE and HERE   

Below is the sketch that I used to make my card.  It's a quick and easy one - my favorite type of card to make!

Measurements for making this card (in inches):

• Mossy Meadow card base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; scored at 4-1/4  
• DSP piece: 2 x 5-1/4
• DSP strips (2 of them): 1/2 x 3
• Embossed Basic Beige card stock strip: 1/2 x 3
• Basic Beige Stylish Shape die cut circle (approx 2-1/4)
• "hello" die cut (A Paper Pumpkin subscriber exclusive**)

Saturday Sketch

 

Here's a card I made using a sketch - such an easy way to get started using new products.  The Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Paper that I used on this card is a new Online Exclusive product.  The paper is so much prettier in real life.  I just love the subtle florals in this paper - perfect for any season and any occasion.

Because there are so many layers on this card - I used 12x12 Two Tone card stock for the Mossy Meadow mats; this card stock is lighter weight and keeps the card from becoming too bulky.

Measurements for making this card (in inches):

• Basic Beige card base: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2; scored at 4-1/4  (I embossed the card front using the Beautiful Pattern 3D embossing folder.)
• Mossy Meadow card stock mat: 3-3/4 x 3-3/4
• DSP layer: 3-1/2 x 3-1/2
• Mossy Meadow card stock mat: 3x3
• DSP layer: 2-3/4 x 2-3/4
• Mossy Meadow card stock strip: 3-1/2 x 3/4 (snip ends)
• Label for sentiment is from the Traditional Labels dies

My Daughter's Wedding Day!

This is the card that I made for my daughter and new son-in-law for their wedding day today.  I used the new Brushed with Beauty Designer Series paper - which is one of the November 2025 online exclusives.

I wanted to make the card a little more special than my usual "Quick and Easy" cards, so I added layers to the card.  To keep it from getting too bulky - I used Mossy Meadow 2 Tone 12x12 card stock to mat the DSP and the Petal Pink embossed layer. 

I didn't have a current "wedding" stamp set - so I looked through my retired stamps - and found the perfect sentiment and coordinating die for the focal piece.  I heat embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder.

I went through my dies and punches to find something to make the floral and greenery accents.  I am really happy with how it turned out.

Below is the inside of the card - I had to make that special, too.  The top floral piece is where we will add a check for their wedding gift.
