This is a quick and easy card that you can make using card stock, and almost any Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!
Below is a video tutorial for making this card. (If you are viewing this in your email or on a mobile device - you may need to click on the title to load the video.)
The cards below are very similar to the one I made in the video. We made these cards at our online Bingo event earlier this fall. I used retired oval and word dies to make these cards.
Basic directions:
Basic White Thick card stock base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
Basic Black layer: 4 x 5-1/4
Designer Series Paper: 3-1/2 x 4-3/4
Put the designer series paper in the paper trimmer, holding it "portrait" style.
Cut off 2"
Turn the 2" piece you just cut and cut again at 3-1/2; set both pieces aside
Turn the remaining strip of paper lengthwise and cut at 1-1/2
You should end up with 4 small pieces of DSP the following sizes:
1-1/2 x 1-1/2
1-1/2 x 3-1/4
2 x 3-1/2
2 x 1-1/4
Glue the pieces of Designer Paper to the black layer - leaving an even border. Use the photo above as a guide.
Add a stamped greeting or image to the card front, as desired.
Add a small bow or other embellishments.
Below are the products I used to make the card shown in the video. Click on any image for more details about the product or to add it to you shopping bag.
I hope you will give this card a try! CONTACT ME if you have any questions.
Thanks for stopping by!
