Super Bowl Stamping

These are the cards we will be making on Super Bowl Sunday - on ZOOM.  CLICK HERE for all the deails.  There are only 4 spaces left - so CONTACT ME before sending payment, just to make sure there are card kits still available. 

The cards were designed using die cut greetings - since Stampin' Up! does not allow us to include stamped images in class kits.  If you have stamps and ink - you can adapt the cards to suit your needs, as shown in the cards below.

Make 5 all occasion cards.  Use your stamps to add sentiments, or use the die cut greetings included in the card kit.

Enjoy a fun hour or two of creativity.

Finish in plenty of time for the big game.

Help a local food pantry.

• Pick  up your card kit from my porch (between Monday January 25 - Friday February 5, while supplies last.)

• Leave a can of soup when picking up your card kit, and choose a goody bag of retired Stampin' Up! products (minimum value of $10.)

• I will donate one can of soup for every can that is left on my porch.

• I will mail card kits for an additional $5, through January 29.

Come when you can between noon and 4.  All the materials will be cut for you to stamp and assemble.  Just allow enough time to complete the 6 cards by 4 pm.  This is a great event for beginner stampers.

My Cookies predicted the Super Bowl Winner - again!

Yesterday was our 3rd Annual "Soup"er Bowl Stamp Camp.  I made the cookies above as one of the desserts - the orange sprinkles represented Denver and the blue sprinkles represented Seattle.  I didn't tell anyone that was why they were decorated that way.........so when they were choosing their cookie, they were subconsciously choosing their favorite team.  Although I didn't take an "after" picture, I did count the cookies that were left and more people chose the blue cookies, which meant they picked Seattle as the winner!  I did the same thing last year with the Ravens and the 49ers, and my stampers got it right that time, too.  You can see that post by CLICKING HERE.

Below are photos of Linda and Lynne getting everything ready for our stamping event.

We had 24 stampers come to make 12 all occasion cards and to enjoy a bowl of home made soup.  It was a fun way to spend the afternoon, and we made it home in time to watch the Big Game.  Looking forward to doing it again next year!

Countdown to the SOUPer Bowl!

It's almost time for our annual SOUPer Bowl party!  Come join us on Sunday February 2 for fun and fellowship and still get home in time for the big game!   Enjoy a bowl of soup and make 12 All Occasion cards for only $25.  Bring your own adhesive.  Earn door prize tickets for each item you bring for the church's food pantry!

The cards above are the ones you will make with me.   The sentiments can easily be changed to meet your needs.  Linda and Lynne will each have two sets of cards for you to make and there will also be additional cards for you to make for $1.50 each.

Congratulations, Ravens!

Yesterday was our 2nd Annual SOUPer Bowl Stamping Party at Hope Lutheran Church.  Sixteen ladies kept busy making 12 all occasion cards.  Of course they took a break to enjoy a bowl or two of soup, after all it was "Soup"er Bowl Sunday.

The ladies also  picked the winner of the big game!  I set out two plates of cookies: one with purple sprinkles (Ravens) and one with red & gold sprinkes(49ers.)  They both started off with the same number of cookies on the plate; but when I went back at the end of the event, the Ravens plate had ONE COOKIE LESS than the 49ers plate.  So that meant the Raven's would win, and it would be a close game!  Which is exactly what happened.  If you look closely at the photo, you can see that the cookies say "I (heart) Stamps."  I made the cookies using Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.  You can find them on page 161 in the annual catalog.  The silicone stamp I used for these cookies was only available to demonstrators at last summer's Stampin' Up! convention.
