Pressed Petals Projects - video

This is a quick video that shows the projects we made at my stamp classes back in October.  I shared this video on my FACEBOOK PAGE, but never posted the projects on my blog.   All of the projects were made using the Pressed Petals specialty Designer Series paper from Stampin' Up!  This paper is special because you get DOUBLE the number of sheets in a regular pack of paper. (24 sheets for only $14.50)   The paper is a little thinner than our normal paper - but it still works perfectly for cards and even for 3D projects like the purse in the video!  Everyone had fun making flowers using the Pressed Petals Washi Tape.  If you are viewing this blog post in your email and can not see the video, remember to click on the Title of the blog post above for the video to load.

Stampin' Up! Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!  These are two of the cards we made at my stamp class last week at the Rokeby Center in Chesapeake, VA.  These are classes that I teach for the department of Parks & Recreation.  If you are local to the area, I hope you will try to join me at my next class on April 2. 

The card below is similar to the Birthday Card that I posted on Monday.  CLICK HERE to go to that post for cutting measurements and to watch a video tutorial.  The only difference with this card is the white rectangle on the front of the card - which measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, to fit inside the largest scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The card below is made with the retired, Party Pandas stamp set and retired Designer Series Paper.  I just love the cute pandas and like to pull this stamp set out every once in awhile.  The heart balloon is punched from gold foil paper.

Birthday Bonanza Gift Card Holder - video tutorial

How cute are these cards?!  They were designed to hold a gift card.  I made these for a Stampin' Up! team SWAP.  At our monthly meetings, we SWAP cards with each other - so we get samples of cards using different stamp sets.  I made my cards using the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series paper, the So Sentimental stamp set, and coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Below is a photo that shows the inside of the card - and how you can insert a gift card into its own little pocket.

Whisper White (inside): 4 x 5 1/4

Bermuda Bay Layer on Front: cut using largest scallop from Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Mango Melody Layer: cut using largest labe of Stitched So Sweetly Dies
White stamped piece: cut using second largest label of Stitched So Sweetly Dies
