Valentine's Card Class

Here are sneak peeks at the cards we will be making at my IN PERSON Valentine's Card Class.  This is a class that I teach for Chesapeake Parks Recreation & Tourism.  The class is held in a large multi-purpose room and is designed to limit the sharing of supplies.  Space is limited to 8 to allow for social distancing.  Virginia State guidelines will be followed.

Details:    Make 5 Valentine cards - all supplies will be provided.

Holiday Greeting Cards Class

If you live in Chesapeake, VA or in one of the nearby cities - please join me at this "In Person" class on Thursday, November 19 from 6 - 7:30pm.  Class will be held in a large, open space at the Rokeby Center.

You will make the 5 cards shown in the photo above for only $12.  (Non-resident fee is $17)  All supplies needed to make the cards will be supplied, including envelopes.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and the class is designed to limit the sharing of tools and supplies.

Christmas in July

 These are the cards that YOU could make at the Christmas in July class I am teaching for Chesapeake Parks and Rec department on Thursday July 23.  We will be following all social distancing guidlines that are in place on the day of class.  As you can see, there is very little stamping - I tried to make this class as touchless as possible   At this time the class is limited to 8 people and Chesapeake residents only.

Christmas in July

I am excited to announce that the classes I teach for Chesapeake Parks & Rec will begin again starting in July.  In the class we will be making 4 Christmas cards.  We will be following any physical distancing guidelines that are in place on that date.  I am also planning the class to be as "touch-less" as possible.  Everyone will have his/her own materials and supplies.

Crafty Creations class

This is the project we will be making at my next Parks & Recreation class on Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 pm.  It is a framed piece with interchangeable pieces that you can swap out depending on the season.  The class will include all the supplies needed to make the framed piece and the decorations in the photo above.

Stampin' Up! Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!  These are two of the cards we made at my stamp class last week at the Rokeby Center in Chesapeake, VA.  These are classes that I teach for the department of Parks & Recreation.  If you are local to the area, I hope you will try to join me at my next class on April 2. 

The card below is similar to the Birthday Card that I posted on Monday.  CLICK HERE to go to that post for cutting measurements and to watch a video tutorial.  The only difference with this card is the white rectangle on the front of the card - which measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2, to fit inside the largest scallop rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The card below is made with the retired, Party Pandas stamp set and retired Designer Series Paper.  I just love the cute pandas and like to pull this stamp set out every once in awhile.  The heart balloon is punched from gold foil paper.

Will You Be My Valentine?

These are two of the cards that we will be making at my class on Thursday night, February 6, at the Rokeby Center in Chesapeake, VA.  The card on the left was made using supplies from my January Paper Pumpkin kit.  The kit makes ten 3"x3" cards and 20 treat bags.  I didn't need all those treat bags - so I went searching on Pinterest for alternate ideas, and love what I found!

The card on the right was inspired by a card that I pinned a few years ago - and uses retired Washi tape, a retired "love" die, and a retired heart punch.  It's hard to tell, but one of the hearts was punched from silver foil paper.

I'm not selling anything today - except the opportunity to have a fun night being creative!   This is a great class for beginners - because everything will be prepped and ready for you!  We will make a total of 4 cards.  I'm sure you can think of 4 people who would love to know that you love them or are thinking of them.  Or use the cards for weddings or anniversaries.

I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching a stamping class for Chesapeake Parks & Rec.  The cards will be suitable for Valentines - but greetings can be changed for Weddings, Anniversaries, or other occasions.
