At a Stampin' Up! team meeting earlier this month - we did some mystery stamping. Everyone was given the first clue before the Zoom meeting - which was a list of supplies we needed to make a card. Then at the zoom meeting - we were giving directions one step at a time to complete the card - but we didn't have a sample card to look at. So everyone interpreted the directions in a slightly different way.
It was so much fun - that we did it again the following week so that more people could join the fun. The card above was the card I made at the first meeting. The card below was the one I made at the second meeting. The funny thing is - I cut the Designer Series Paper wrong for both cards - both are different sizes and neither is the size that was given in the first clue! I'm usually so good with math - guess I was just in a hurry!
Here is the first clue (which gives you the measurements for making this card.)
I didn't post these cards right away because both papers were backordered for awhile. But it looks like they are in stock now - so I may feature them again in future posts when I show you the other projects I made using the papers and stamp sets.

Monday night was my Seaside Notions stamp class on Zoom. You can see the cards we made by CLICKING HERE. In addition - everyone also made two fun fold birthday cards that you can see HERE.
I made the cards in the photo above - using the same stamp set and ink colors that we used in class. If you would like the supplies to make these cards - you can purchase the card kits for only $10. You will get the card bases, envelopes, card stock pieces, and ribbon/twine to make the 6 cards in the photo. In addition, you will receive a written tutorial with measurements and step by step directions You will need the Seaside Notions stamp set (or a set with similar sized images), stamp pads, blocks, and adhesive to complete the cards.
Below are two more cards that I made using the same stamp set, They can be made using any color of ink and coordiniating patterned paper. These cards are made using Calypso Coral products. The Seaside Notions stamp set does NOT have coordinating dies -but the images are pretty easy to cut out using Stampin' Up!'s paper snips.
CONTACT ME if you would like me to send you a Pay Pal invoice or to make other arrangements for payment.

I'm back with a new video for you. Watch to see how easy it is to make this cute Tall & Skinny treat box. It uses just one sheet of 6x6 patterned paper. As you might be able to tell - I made these boxes using the 2019 - 2021 In Color Designer Series Paper Assortment. The patterns are a little different in the current Annual Catalog - but the paper is available in all of the Stampin' Up! color assortments.
I always like to put candy in my treat boxes, but these could hold a small hand sanitizer, lip stick, etc. The box is 6 inches tall, 2 inches wide, and 3/4 inch deep.
Supplies used to make the box:
6x6 piece of
Designer Series Paper
2x3 piece of
coordinating card stock
Linen
thread, Baker’s twine, or narrow ribbon
Tag Topper
punch
Adhesive (something
strong enough to hold the box together)
Stamps/ink/punches
of your choice to decorate (I used Daisy Lane stamp set and Medium Daisy punch)
Basic Directions:
Score the
Designer Series Paper at 2, 2 ¾ , 4 ¾ , 5 ½ Turn and score at ¾
Fold along
all score lines; cut from the bottom along all score lines - up to the other
score line; cut away the smallest flap
Add adhesive
to the RIGHT SIDE of the box along the narrow flap and along the bottom flap that is the farthest away; adhere the box
together. (It will not matter if your
scoring resulted in the smallest flap being on the opposite side as the one in
the photo.)
Lightly
pinch the top of the box together
Score the
2x3 piece of card stock in half at 1 ½ and punch one of the 2” ends using a Tag
Topper punch
Glue the
card stock piece to the top of the box and having the punched end flap over the
opening of the box.
Thread
ribbon or twine through the opening in flap and around the box and tie in a bow
on the front of the box.
Decorate box
as desired.
I also have a PDF tutorial for this project. Just EMAIL ME if you would like a copy, or leave a message below.
