With You in Mind

I made the cards in this photo using the With You In Mind stamp set.  This was the first set that caught my eye when I had my first look at the Jan/April 2025 mini catalog from Stampin' Up!  I love the large mixed fonts in the greetings - and the small stamped images are perfect for decorating the inside of cards as well as the outside of the envelopes.  This is also a great set for beginner stampers - or for any stamper who wants to make a quick and easy card.

This card is made with just ink and paper - it doesn't get much easier than this!  Of course, I could have added a little bling - but I think it's fine just the way it is.

When I first started stamping - with limited supplies - this was one of my favorite stamping techniques.  I used VERSAMARK ink to stamp the hearts on the Melon Mambo card stock.  You would get the same look by stamping the heart using Melon Mambo ink.  But if you don't have every ink color - then this is a great technique to try.

This was a card that I visualized making when I first saw this stamp set.  It would work with any of the images or greetings from this stamp set.  I cut the squares using my paper trimmer - but if you have square punches or dies - it would be even easier.

Here's another quick and easy card.  I used the new color coach to help me choose the colors for the stars: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo.

Here's another quick and easy card that you could make using any of the greetings in the stamp set - and using any color.  If I make this card again, I will emboss the larger white mat behind the stamped layers with an embossing folder.

I also used the color coach to help me choose colors for this card.  I'm not a fan of Granny Apple Green - but I'm trying to expand my horizons a bit!  The color wheel told me the Fresh Freesia would be a good coordinating color - but I decided to use a similar color, Petunia Pop.  I stamped the leaf pattern on the green using VERSAMARK.  I hand cut the greeting and the mat behind it.

The four cards above were made using the Blooms Impressions Designer Paper, which is a set that you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration (Jan 7-Feb 28, 2025.)

Here are a few of the supplies that I mentioned in this blog post.

Each day this week I will feature one of the items that you can earn for free.  Today's FREE product is Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.  It is the patterned paper I used on the card below.  The images are black and white - meant for you to color with our new Watercolor Pencils - or your favorite coloring tools.
We made this card at my January stamp club classes.  We usually make two cards and one 3D item at my classes - but in January we made FIVE cards - because I had so many products that I wanted everyone to try.  That is the beauty of my classes - you get to TRY before you BUY.  (But you never ever have to buy a thing!)

This card uses all Stampin' Up! products, including Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper - that you can only get for FREE with a $50 purchase (through March 31, 2017.)  we cut the paper into three pieces and separated them ever so slightly.  We colored one of the sections with the NEW watercolor pencils, then blended the colors using a blender pen.  We stamped the words"To a wonderful friend" on the Calypso Coral card stock using Versamark Ink.  We finished the card with another greeting from the Dragonflies Dream stamp set, layered it on burlap ribbon and added a black bow made with baker's twine.

PLEASE CONTACT ME if you would like more information about my classes and/or about the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card.

Peace

This is one of the cards we made at my stamp club classes in October.

Stampin' Up! supplies used to make this card:
Card stock: Soft Sky, Thick Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
Ink: Versamark, Soft Sky
Stamp Set: Holly Jolly Greetings
Accessories:  Clear Embossing Powder, Christmas Greetings Thinlits, Aqua Painter, Metallic Sequins

We stamped the snowflake image onto Thick Whisper White card stock using Versamark.  We heat embosses using Clear Embossing Powder.  Then we used an Aqua Painter to brush Soft Sky ink over the snowflake image.  The ink will not stick to the white embossing!  (We took a tissue to wipe off any excess ink.)  Wait for the ink to dry, or use your heat gun to speed the process up a bit.  Then you just need to adhere all the pieces to the card front.  A very simple but pretty card when you see it in person.  Adding a littlle Wink of Stella would make it shimmer even more!

CONTACT ME if you would like more information about my stamp classes.  I am always looking for new people to join the fun!

Punch Puppy

This is one of the cards you could make if you stop over tonight to stamp with me!  We made this a few years ago in my club meetings.  The puppy is made using circle and oval punches, and the word window punch for his ears and eye patch!  I made a template for the bone, using a (retired) heart punch for the ends. The sentiment is from the stamp set, "Teeny Tiny Wishes."  This is my "go to" set  and has over 20 different greetings for major holidays and occasions.  Hearts are stamped on the card front using Versamark ink.

Thanks for stopping by today!
