Heart Shaped Bundle

I made this card using the Heart Shaped Bundle (pictured below) - which is a set of stamps and coordinating dies that you can choose for free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-bration (now through February 28, 2025.)  This could be the perfect Valentine's Day card for someone special - or it can also be used for a wedding or anniversay by switching out the colors.  I used Real Red card stock for the card base and one layer.  The flowers and mat are made using Pretty in Pink card stock.  I embossed the white layer using the Starstruck embossing folder which is another Sale-a-bration item.

The card above is absolutely the sweetest in Real Life!  I embossed a piece of our new Two-Tone 12 x 12 card stock with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder.  Then I took a sanding sponge and lightly sanded on the embossing - which reveals the white inner core of this card stock.  So pretty!  I stamped the heart image using Pretty in Pink ink - then layered the Soft Sea Foam die cut directly on the stamped image.  The greeting on this card is from the Heart Shaped stamp set and I used a retired punch to make the label.  The white ribbon is a beautiful iridescent - adding a bit of elegance to the card.

I stamped the heart on this card using Summer Splash ink, and the heart was die cut from Pretty Petunia glimmer paper.

I think these two cards are stunning in their simplicity.  I used Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper to die cut the hearts.  This pack of paper is another item you could choose for FREE during Sale-a-bration, with a qualifying order.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on your basics - and splurge on some new stamp sets and dies, so that you can choose one or more of the Sale-a-bration items I featured today.

Love & Happiness

I made these cards using the Love & Happiness stamp set.  This was one of the first sets I inked up from the January/June catalog.  It has a coordinating die set/embossing folder that intrigued me. The die works with the embossing folder to cut and emboss at the same time!  This bundle did not carry over to the new annual catalog - so I wanted to point it out - so you don't miss out on it.

Below is a short video that I made, showing each of the cards and pointing out some details about each card:

(If you are viewing this in your email or on a mobile device  - you may need to click on the blog title to load the video.)

This is a great set with a lot of greetings for weddings, anniversaries, and even engagements!  I made the first card below for my sister's 40th Wedding Anniversary.  The traditonal gift for this milestone anniversary is ruby - so I used red foil paper (retired) as accents on this card.

The card below is called a book binding card.

The two cards below can be made at the same time - by switching out the embossed hearts.

Silver Anniversary Wishes

Last month my husband, Cliff, and I celebrated our 25th anniversary.  We took a long, scenic drive from Virginia to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls - for a second honeymoon.  One of the highlights of our getaway was celebrating with a dinner at the SKYLON TOWERWe had a delicious dinner with a great view of the American Falls from 775 feet above.  I planned on giving Cliff this card at dinner - but I was so excited with the dinner and gorgeous view, that I completely forgot.  So I gave it to him when we got back to our hotel.

Here is a picture of us at dinner.

Anniversary Wishes

This is a card that I made for my nephew and his wife's third anniversary - which is today.  I'm sorry this is not the best photo - I snapped it on Monday morning in my kitchen before I put it in the envelope to mail.    I used the new Pool Party Stampin' Blends to color the blue background behind the chairs.  The chairs were cut out of paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack  using the Adirondack chair die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

Below is a one minute video to introduce you to the new Stampin' Blends markers.  They are alcohol  based markers that are great for shading and blending smooth lines, when coloring stamped images.

The Stampin' Blends are available to purchase in my online store, beginning today!
