Convention Gifts - part 2

 Here are a few more "pillow gifts" that I received from my sister stampers at the Stampin' Up! Convention in July.  The fabric flower, paper flower (on my name tag) and the mini post it note key ring were made by Monica.

 This cute fabric bag was made by Liz.  She put a bag of yummy almonds inside.

Convention Gifts - part 1

One of the fun things about attending the Stampin' Up! convention was getting to spend time with my "sister" stampers.  These are all gifts I received from my roommate, Dawn.  The little purple basket was filled with chocolate - which disappeared very quickly!  The plaque and key ring were tucked into the little blue bag along with the birthday card below.

Cute, right?  But it gets even better when you open it up:

How cute is that?  The cupcakes are floating in the air!  We will be making a card using this technique at a future stamp club meeting.

Convention Swaps - August

 When I went to the Stampin' Up! Convention in July, I participated in a SWAP to get Make and Take ideas for an entire year!  These are the cards I received in the swap for the August theme (summer.)  The card above was made by Michelle Lynch.

This was MY swap card.  I struggled at first with a summer card, but when I saw the Wanderlust Photopolymer stamp set, I knew it would be perfect for making a summer themed card.

Herringbone Technique - video!!!

These cards were made using the Herringbone Technique. Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper is great for making this kind of card because the colors coordinate so well.  We made this card at a Stamp Club meeting earlier this spring.  Watch the video below to see how easy it is to make this card!
