Something for Baby

How cute is this card?!  I made it for a baby who is due any day now!  I used the brand new stamp set Something for Baby and coordinating framelits dies to make this card.  I "CASED" the idea from Deb Valder.  I think we will make this card at my June stamp club meetings.  This card is actually fairly easy to make, and having the framelits makes it a lot easier - no fussy cutting involved!  This card does fold up flat, but you will have to make your own envelope since it is a little too big to fit in a regular sized envelope.

Visit my MY STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE to shop 24/7 and to view this month's stamping events.  This weekend I have 3 FREE stamping sessions.  Space is limited, so please RSVP to get your preferred spot.

Tea, anyone?

This is the 3D project we made at our stamp club meeting in May.  I also gave one of these to everyone who attended my CREATIVE ESCAPE in April.  This project was designed by Brenda Quintana and you can find the directions on her blog, Qbees Quest.  This is not as hard to make as you might think!  Come join me at my monthly stamp club meeting and you will learn how to make cute little things like this!

Flip Flap Card

This was the "Bonus" card we made at my May stamp club meetings.  It is a Flip Flap card.  I saw several examples of this kind of card on Pintrest.  We started with Coastal Cabana card stock.  Everyone chose their favorite print from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.  We used the 2 1/2 circle, 2 3/8 scallop circle, 1 3/4 circle, 1 3/8 circle, BoHo Blossom, and mini punch pack punches to finish the card. The chevrons were cut using the Circle Card Framelit (although Stampin' Up! now sells a chevron punch!)

This is how the card opens.  (The little flower is there to help keep the card closed!)  Other card stock colors are Real Red, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White. The "For You" stamp is from the Chalk Talk stamp set by Stampin' Up!

The new Stampin' Up catalog goes live at 1 pm Eastern time tomorrow!!!!

If you would like to place an online order, please order directly from MY STAMPIN' UP! WEBSITE using the hostess code: WTE9ZSNG
