February Stamp Club Project #2

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been super busy getting ready for my first Stamp-A-Stack which is tomorrow!
The second project for February was this buckle card. I followed this tutorial, but changed the width of the buckle. I used the stamping off technique to get a lighter turquoise butterfly.
Recipie:
Stamp Sets: Flight of the butterfly; Sprinkles
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise 5 1/2 x 7 (scored at 2 3/4); Certainly Celery 4 x 5 1/4;
Rose Red 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 for buckle 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 for mat; Natural White 2 x 3 and 1 x 2 1/4
Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Certainly Celery

February Stamp Club Project #1

This is the first project we will be making in my club meetings this month. It's a 3x5 spiral memo pad. We will be using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the butterfly images in right place.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Flight of the Butterfly
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise (3x5)
Rose Red (2 3/4 x 4 1/2)
Naturals White (2 1/2 x 4 1/4)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Only Orange, Rose Red
Marker: Green Galore

I tied some (non SU) ribbon around some of the spiral rings. Thanks for looking!

I Won Candy!

A few weeks ago, I won this blog candy from another Kathy. It was the first time I ever won blog candy after almost a year of "blurfing" (blog surfing :]) I'll give out some blog candy of my own when I know for sure someone is out there taking a look at my blog besides me and my daughter! (Thanks for being my blog master, Emily. You rock!)

Thank You Gift

Here is a little something I gave to my stamp club members with their January orders. I used Valentine’s paper that I found at the dollar spot at Target, red Christmas clearance ribbon from Michael’s, and the Wow Flowers stamp set (from Stampin’ Up, of course.) I filled these “sour cream” containers with mini tootsie rolls. Here is the tutorial I followed.
