Bingo Cards

On Friday night, my sister, Donna, and I hosted a virtual Bingo event, Stampin' Up! style.  These are the cards we made in between playing 5 games of Bingo.  The first 4 winners won their choice from the Stampin' Up! merchandise pictured below.  The winner of the last game won a $125 Stampin' Up! gift certificate!  She is waiting to redeem it in May - so she can choose items from the new Stampin' Up!  Annual Catalog.

Did you notice that we had 5 prizes for 4 games?  That's because we like to give that last winner a chance to choose a prize - instead of just get "stuck" with the leftover prize.

I think everyone had a good time - despite the fact that we are still learning how to run a zoom meeting!  It is fun to "see" everyone - even if it is only on a computer screen.  Hopefully we will be able to get together in person to stamp soon!  Donna and I will continue to do the online events - so that her customers, who live in Pennsylvania, can join my customers, who mostly live in Virginia.  The nice thing about zoom is that anyone can join from practically anywhere!

So if you want to join us the next time, please ask to join our Facebook Group, 2 Sisters Stamping so yu will the first to know about our upcoming events.  This week we are featuring some of the products  retiring from the annual catalog, giving away prizes just for watching short videos and commenting!

The first card we made at BINGO was a mystery card.  Everyone was given a card base, card stock and Designer Series Paper pieces, and die cuts.  Everyone's colors and patterns were different. We gave "clues" for assembling the card.  It was so much fun to see how differently the cards turned out.  The card I made is above.  You can see some of the orher cards on the 2 Sisters Facebook Page - if you join the group!

The next card was this Happy Birthday card. The paper is from the Well Suited paper pack - in the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog. Because we can not supply stamped images in card kits, I used the retired "Happy Birthday" die for the greeting.  I loved seeing the alternate designs that some of the ladies made.

The last card we made was this adorable shaker card.  Again, we used die cut words and punched pieces from the DSP for this card - since we can't include stamped images in kits.   It may be hard to tell - but the white part of the card front is inside a clear envelope attached to the Bermuda Bay card front.  There are small sprinkles inside the clear envelope which move around when you shake the card.  Really cute - and a quick and easy card with a WOW factor!  The products used to make this card are from the ICE CREAM CORNER SUITE - in the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog.

Please visit my ONLINE STORE to see the products that will be retiring from the annual catalog on May 3 and to start shopping.  A new annual catalog will "go live" on May 4th.

Option #1 is $15.

You will make 3 greeting cards and will receive one set of Bingo cards (5 games.)

Option #2 is $20.

Bingo Note Card Set

Still more catching up with posting projects from my 2017 stamping events!  Today's cards were made at Bingo - back in June!  These are all note cards, made using the 2017-18 In Colors card stock, ink, and Designer Series Paper.  The card above is my favorite from the set.  The little Adirondack chair is made with a die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  The words are from the Colorful Seasons stamp set, which coordinates with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  Buy both in a bundle and save 10%. The color used on this card is Berry Burst.

The colors used for these cards are Tranquil Tide and Powder Pink.  The words on the left are from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.  The words on the right card are from the You've Got This stamp set.

The card on the left was made using the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set and the color used was Lemon Lime Twist.  The card on the right was made using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and the color used was Fresh Fig.

The final card above uses all of the 2017-18 InColors card stock. The stamp set used was Crafting Forever. The pens were colored using the In Colors Stampin' Write Markers.

Bingo is one of my most popular stamping events.  Everyone has a good time making the cards while making new friends.  Plus there are lots of prizes and surprises.  I am hosting Bingo on Super Bowl Sunday.   CLICK HERE for more information and to RSVP.

The 6th Card

This is the 6th card we made at Bingo! Stampin' Up! Style in June.  You can see the other cards, and read about that fun event BY CLICKING HERE.  This card was made using the "Crafting Forever" stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I received this stamp set for FREE when I attended Centre Stage in April. That is a special event for Stampin' Up! leaders - before the main event of OnStage the following day (open to all demonstrators.)

The card uses all the brand new In Colors - those strips of card stock behind the stamped image and the colors (markers) used to color in the pens.

Bingo! Stampin' Up! Style - New Catalog Edition

On Sunday, a group of new and "seasoned" stampers gathered for a fun afternoon of Bingo - Stampin' Up! style.   It was so great that these ladies chose to spend a beautiful Virginia Beach afternoon inside with me.  We played 5 games of BINGO and made 6 note cards plus a cute tote to put them in.

I finished setting up early and was eagerly waiting for everyone to arrive - so when they did, I was so excited that I completely forgot to take photos!

These are the beautiful new Fresh Florals Designer Series Papers - all in the brand new In Colors.  We used this paper and coordinating ribbon to make a cute tote.

These are prizes that our first four Bingo winners could choose from.  The final prize was a $65 Stampin' Up! gift certificate.  Everyone also went home with a door prize, table favor, and parting gift.

Finally, here are 5 of the cards we made.  Check back later for details about each card - and to see the 6th card.

B-I-N-G-O!

This is going to be my one and only stamping event in June!  I guess I shouldn't have planned a vacation during the first month of the catalog launch!  I leave later this week for a trip to PA and NYC.  Then there is my son's high school graduation and Vacation Bible School  before I can have my BINGO/catalog launch party!

I hope you will be able to join me for some stamping fun.  If you have ever attended my Bingo events then you know they are lots of fun and you will go home with lots of goodies!  I usually don't do this, but I decided to post the projects you will be making at this month's BINGO event.

These are five of the cards we will be making (I will keep the 6th one a surprise!)  They are note cards made using the new In Color collection.  I haven't decided which is my favorite new color!  I like them all.  Envelopes are included and as always, there will be additional greetings so you can make the cards that suit your needs.

Everything is provided except adhesive - so bring your favorite or purchase one at the event.

The first 10 people to RSVP and prepay will make a BONUS project.

The price is only $20 if paid by June 18th.  After that - the price is $25 until all seats are filled.
Don't miss out!   RSVP by CLICKING HERE

SOUPer Bowl Bingo - Stampin' Up! Style

Sunday was my 6th annual "SOUP"er Bowl party.  It was a fun filled afternoon that started with homemade soup for lunch.  This year we added the fun of BINGO.  We played 3 games of bingo then took a break to make 4 cards.  Then we played 3 more games of regular bingo before finishing up with the jackpot game

Here are the first three winners:

Or should I say the first TWO winners.  Diane won the first two games!  Her first prize was water color pencils, blender pens, water color paper, and a roll of ribbon.  Her second prize was a card kit and Fast Fuse adhesive.  Debbie picked a past paper pumpkin kit for her prize.  The kit makes little Valentine treats and inside the tote bag was a bag of M&Ms to fill the bags!

Here are some photos of busy stampers making their cards:

We had 19 people join us for the afternoon.  These are the cards everyone made:

Card 1
or

Card 2

or

Card 3

or

Card 4

We had a table set up for people who finished their cards early.  We encouraged everyone to write a note to someone who might appreciate a "thinking of you" card.  We will make sure these cards get delivered and I'm sure they will be greatly appreciated by everyone who receives one.

After everyone finished making their cards, we played three more games of  regular bingo.  Here are the winners with their prizes.

Elizabeth won a package of Pumpkin grid sheets , a collapsible trash bin, Wink of Stella, and a Fast Fuse adhesive.  Nanette won a Perpetual Birthday calendar, a set of birthday cards, and a #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp set. Cathy won the retired "Sweet Centers" stamp set, several boxes of treat cups, and three pages of printed ideas for using the stamp set.  Everything was stashed in a Paper Pumpkin bag for easy carrying.

And the grand prize winner of a $140 gift certificate for Stampin' Up! merchandise was Sarah:

It was a fun filled afternoon - and to top it off we collected $74 to donate to the church's food pantry!  If you were not able to attend this time - I hope you will try to join us for the next Bingo - Stampin' Up! style!

Bingo Projects

Below are the  projects we made at our Bingo event on World Card Making Day.  Everyone made 4 cards - two each of two different designs.

This is the card that I designed for our first Bingo project.  The two leaves and the acorn stamps are from an incentive stamp set that is only available to Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  The other stamps in the set were given away as a BONUS prize for the first 10 people who signed up and paid for the event.  Below are two other greetings stampers could choose from when making their cards.

These cards were made using Crumb Cake card stock.  I used Crumb Cake ink to stamp the "splatter" using a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  I also used Crumb Cake ink to sponge the Very Vanilla strips.  The little wooden pieces were on the CLEARANCE RACK earlier in September.

Below is the second card that we made at Bingo.  It was designed by my team mate, Anna.

This card was made using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set - one of the most popular sets in the Stampin' U! catalog - and probably the oldest!  The trees were stamped using Versamark ink and then heat embossed with the NEW copper embossing powder.

Check back to learn how a MISTAKE - turned into something that everyone wanted on their cards!

World Card Making Day

Saturday was World Card Making Day.  Some of my team members and I hosted a fun Bingo event - with stamping of course.  We had 22 ladies come to play 5 games of Bingo.

We played 3 games of Bingo, then took a break to make our cards - two each of two designs.  The cards were quick and easy to make.  I didn't even give these ladies a chance to sit down - because I knew they would soon be moving on to the next table to finish up the cards!

We also had a table with lots of cards and a list of people who would be blessed by receiving a hand made card - some were nursing home residents and others were fighting cancer or other illnesses.   We asked the ladies to take a minute or two to write a note to one of the people on the list.

After stamping we played two more games of bingo.  Below are the first four winners with their prizes - fabulous Stampin' Up! products.

Our 5th game is always a "Jackpot" game where the prize is a Stampin' Up! gift certificate.  We set aside $5 from each registration fee for the jackpot prize - plus we sell additional cards if anyone wants an extra chance to win.  The jackpot on Saturday reached $140.  And the winner was..............

Beverly - a first time stamper!  She was a last minute addition - taking the place of someone who was unable to attend!

Beverly decided to use her gift certificate to purchase a 6 month Paper Pumpkin subscription - plus a few additional items!  That was a great decision for a beginner stamper.  Everything she needs to make awesome paper crafting projects will be delivered right to her doorstep!

It's not too late to take advantage of the BOGO sale on Paper Pumpkin.  First time subscribers who sign up by October 10 using the promo code: BOGO, will receive the October kit PLUS the November kit will ship for FREE!!!

Check back later to see the projects that we made at this event and to find out when we will have our next Bingo - Stampin' Up! style.
