Bingo Make & Takes

Earlier this month we played Bingo, Stampin' Up!  You can see all the fun we had BY CLICKING HERE.  Everyone was able to make two cards like these.  They chose the colors - but had the option to create the cards they wanted.

Everyone was encouraged to stamp their envelopes as well as the inside of the card.  These cards were made with the new In Colors from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.  The card stock portion of the card was embossed, and the Flirty Flamingo (pink) card shows that anyone can make a mistake!  I forgot to stamp the greeting first when making this sample card. 

Here are two more variations.  The card on the right uses two colors of card stock.  I love the monochromatic look of the other cards, but wanted to show other options. 

This was another option - making the card horizontal.

I am currently planning to have a Birthday Bingo Bash on Saturday morning, July 16.  I am still working out the details so check back later for details and to sign up.

Monday's Mailbox

These thank you notes were supposed to go out in the mail after my Birthday Bash in August!  I just never took the time to write a personal thank you inside.  I really MUST do a better job at getting the  cards I make in the mail!  I ended up giving one of these cards to each person who attended my stamp club meetings in September.  Many of those stampers came to my birthday bash - so they just were thanked in person, and have a card they can send to someone else!

This is a really quick and easy card to make.  If you want to make one yourself - stop by Georgetown Primary School this Saturday, October 4th.  I will be there with one of my team members, Ellen, celebrating World Card Making Day, by sharing our love of stamping with anyone who stops by the school's Fall Festival.

Flower Shop Stamp Club Cards

The card below was definitely everyone's favorite from July's stamp club meeting.

We stamped the flowers and greeting on black card stock using white craft ink.  Then we heat embossed using white embossing powder.  Finally, we used the new Blendabilities markers to color the flowers and greeting.  We also used the Blendabilities to color pearls (or rhinestones.)  The colors really "pop" in real life!

Cute Cake Box

My stamp club meetings are happening this weekend and this is the first project we will be making.

It is a cute box, in the shape of a piece of cake.  I think the ribbon around the middle looks like a layer of frosting.  It is attached loosely and slides off so that you can open the back of the box and get to whatever goodies you decide to put inside.  Here is what the box looks like when it is open.

I had to try making a box like this after viewing THIS YOU TUBE VIDEO.
