August Stamp Club Cards1 & 2

This is one of the cards we made at my August stamp club classes.  It is made using the Floral Essence stamp set and Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!  This is an easy card to make - yet it is a beauty and anyone would love to receive it.  The photo below shows the inside of the card and the envelope.  I stamped both of them using the same floral image that was stamped on the card front.

At my August stamp clubs, we made two projects from three different stamp sets.  The second card using the Floral Essence stamp set was one of the note cards in the photo above.  Everyone chose the color they wanted to use to make their card.

I show you how easy it is to make a card like this HERE.

Purchase the Floral Essence stamp set, a pack of notecards, and two blends from my online store, and I will send the the card stock needed to make 4 cards.

Below are some of the products used to make the cards above.  Click on any image below to purchase the item from my online store!

Here are three more cards I made using the Floral Essence stamp set by Stampin' Up!  I have been having fun playing with this stamp set.  You can see some of the cards I made using this set by clicking HERE and HERE.  For these cards I knew I wanted to try using Mango Melody ink and card stock.  This is a color that has been around for an entire year - and I never used it!

This is my favorite of the three.  I used one of the floral images in the set and stamped it full strength using Mango Melody ink - and then stamped a second time without re-inking the stamp.  I used Garden Green ink to stamp the centers of the flowers, and to add leaves.

These two cards are very similar.  I made the one on the left first - trying to keep it very simple for beginning stampers.  I thought all the green on the card looked a little plain - so I made another version where I stamped leaves on the green using Versamark ink.  When I did that - I thought the lacy piece made using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, was just a little too busy.  So I used a narrow strip of card stock instead.

If you would like to make these cards, or any of the other ones that I posted earlier this month - please CONTACT ME to arrange a private class for you and/or your friends.

Happy New Year?

When a new Stampin' Up! catalog launches - it's like a New Year for me!  NEW stamps, NEW products, and NEW colors.  These note cards were made with the NEW In Colors.  These are 5 colors that are added to the Stampin' Up! collection of card stock and ink colors - to give us even more creative opportunities! This year's colors are named: Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, and Purple Posy.

This is a close up of one of the cards - made using Seaside Spray card stock and ink.  I have a short video showing you how easy it is to make this card.

Below is a close up of the little folder I made to hold a set of note cards.

Please CONTACT ME if you would like to make a set of these cards.  Grab a friend and come on over to my stamp room and I will show you how easy and fun it is to make these cards.  Or I can bring the party to your house!
