Thank You, Veterans

Thank you to all the Veterans out there - for your service and sacrifice. 

I am most grateful for, and proud of my husband, Cliff, who served over 30 years in the United States Navy.  The only picture I have (on my phone) of him in his uniform is one from our wedding day - 28 years ago!  I met him towards the end of his military career - so I'm not the typical military wife.  The longest we were apart was 3 months - and at the end of that separation, we enjoyed a family vacation at Disney World. I have so much respect for the all the Navy wives I met over the years who had to deal with much longer and more dangerous deployments.

Below is aVeteran's Day card that I made over 10 years ago.  Who remembers the Top Note Die?!   Punch Art was popular back then - before all the thin dies were available.

A Banner Year - the Winter Cards

These are the cards we will be making at my next online ZOOM class on Monday, November 23 at 7pm.  We used this stamp set at my September Zoom class to make fall cards.  You can see the cards we made at that class BY CLICKING HERE.  This is such a great stamp set because you can use it for FOUR holidays as well as for general thinking of you cards!  Below are the class options for local customers.  If you need to have the kit shipped to you - shipping will be $5 for any of the options.  You will need stamp pad(s) and adhesive to complete the cards.

Class Option 1 - $10

This option includes the card kit only.  You will receive 4 card bases, 4 envelopes, all the paper pieces cut to size or die cut for you.  You will also receive the ribbon and twine shown on the cards.  This option DOES NOT include the stamp set.  You can purchase the stamp set with one of the other options - or use stamps that you already own.

Class Option 2 - $30    

This option includes the card kit described in Option 1 AND the Banner Year stamp set.

Make a Card Send a Card

Back in October - for World Card Making Day - I sent out several card kits and asked my friends and family to make the card and then send the card.  If you are one of the people who made the card with me - I hope you can find it and get it ready to mail! 

If you did NOT get a card kit, and would like to make a card -  CONTACT ME by Friday November 13, and I will put one in the mail for you to make, and hopefully you will send it to someone you may not get to see for Thanksgiving.  The Designer Series Paper and card stock may not be the same as the paper I used in the video.

Watch the video below to see how easy it is to make the card - and watch until the end to see two other ways you can use the supplies to make a card.  Remember - this was originally made to share on World Card Making Day.
