Paper Pumpkin January 2020

These are little treats I made to give out to the ladies who came to my class last night.  They were made using the January 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I made them following the directions except I used Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon for the bow instead of the white Baker's Twine that came in the kit.  I also stamped XOXO using a stamp from the January 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit because I had already packed the current set to use on one of the cards we made at class.

Watch the short video below to see the January 2020 kit.

Order by February 10 to get February's kit.  We don't know exactly what's inside, but we do know that it will  contain supplies for making 9 full size cards that will coordinate with the Sale-a-bration stamp set,  Happy Birthday to You, shown below.

November 2016 Stamp Club Projects

These are the projects we made at my stamp club classes this month.  The tiny treat boxes are clear boxes  filled with Hershey Kisses for a quick table favor.  The one on the right is lined with THIS CHRISTMAS Designer Series Paper.  Below are closer views of the boxes and tags.

The clear boxes are cute just tied with a little SILVER RIBBON.  I made the tag using a stamp from the STITCHED WITH CHEER stamp set (on sale through November 28, 2016) and a little doodling around the edges of the DECORATIVE LABEL PUNCH.

The tag on this box was made using the TIN OF TAG project kit and coordinating TIN OF TAGS STAMP SET.  The stamp set is on sale through Monday, November 28, 2016.

CLICK HERE to see the items on sale during the Online Extravaganza - through Monday.  Some items are up to 40% off.  Place an order by Monday using the current hostess code WU74QG34 and I will send you four beautiful hand made cards.

Happy Halloween!

Now that my children are grown,  I 'm not really into celebrating Halloween - but I did make some treats to give to the children in my preschool class.  These were made with the retired Fry Box Big Shot die and a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set.  Just a little something to let them know that I am "bats" about them.

This little box of Hershey  kisses is also a gift card holder.  I plan to give this to my teaching assistant to let her know how much I appreciate everything she does for me. Of course I will stick a gift card in that area where you see the half circle opening. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube showing how to make this type of treat box/card.  The one I followed was by BJ Peters.  I used Pumpkin Pie card stock and the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! to make this card.  The "No Tricks Just Treats" stamp is from October's PAPER PUMPKIN KIT.

I can't express how much I love the monthly Paper Pumpkin kits that show up in my mail box each month.  Not only is it fun to get something besides JUNK in my mailbox - but each kit comes with everything needed for a quick and fun Creative Escape!

Today is the last day to get a pack of FREE Designer Series Paper.  CLICK HERE for all the details. and to place your order online.

July Stamp Club Projects

These are the projects we made at my July stamp club classes.  I couldn't decide whether to continue my birthday celebration or to celebrate Christmas is July.  So I did a little bit of both.  We made shaker cards, and some cute cards featuring Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Designer Series Paper.  Everyone loved learning how to make those puffy balloons that pop off the card!  And, as always, we made 3D item - this time a little candy treat!

Stop back to see these projects up close and to learn some tricks for making them!

March 3D project

This butterfly, made with Hershey kisses, was the "3D" project my stamp club members made at our March meeting! If I want a cute candy project, I just visit Brenda Quintana's blog.  She has lots of tutorials for making just about anything with Hershey's Kisses.  They are fairly easy to make with just Designer Series Paper and card stock!

A Tiny Treat

This is the 3D project we made at my stamp club meetings this month.  We used the Designer Series Paper, Sweet Sorbet and the Envelope Punch Board to make a 3x3" envelope.
Then we tucked a Ghirardelli Chocolate inside and finished it up with a cute bow made using a few punches.  Really cute and simple.

You can receive a package of Sweet Sorbet designer series paper for FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! order during the greatest sale of the year: SALE-A-BRATION.  The sale continues through March 31.  There are lots of other FREE products you can receive with each $50 you spend!

A Little Late!

I am getting ready for my November stamp club meetings and I realized I never posted the projects from October!  This is the 3D project we made - a cute candy box just the right size for a Reese's peanut butter cup (or a small bag of Skittles, M&Ms, etc.)  We made this project using the new envelope punch board.  What an awesome tool!  You can use it for much more than just making envelopes.  (Although you can make 66 different sizes of envelopes!)

We used Versamark Ink to stamp the candy images on the Pumpkin Pie card stock. This was one of my favorite products when I first started stamping and didn't have a lot of ink colors.  It is a clear ink that will show up just a shade darker than the paper you are stamping on.

Hershey's Tree

This is a little treat that I made for the teachers that I work with.  It is made using Hershey's Kisses and Hershey's Nuggets.  My 8th grade son agreed to take one of these to each of his core teachers.......and he NEVER lets me send in special treats for them!  So I guess he thought they were pretty cool!  If you would like to learn how to make little treats like this, you should think about coming to one of my stamp club meetings!  We usually make 2 cards and some sort of "3D" item, like this candy tree.
