Bingo Cards

On Friday night, my sister, Donna, and I hosted a virtual Bingo event, Stampin' Up! style.  These are the cards we made in between playing 5 games of Bingo.  The first 4 winners won their choice from the Stampin' Up! merchandise pictured below.  The winner of the last game won a $125 Stampin' Up! gift certificate!  She is waiting to redeem it in May - so she can choose items from the new Stampin' Up!  Annual Catalog.

Did you notice that we had 5 prizes for 4 games?  That's because we like to give that last winner a chance to choose a prize - instead of just get "stuck" with the leftover prize.

I think everyone had a good time - despite the fact that we are still learning how to run a zoom meeting!  It is fun to "see" everyone - even if it is only on a computer screen.  Hopefully we will be able to get together in person to stamp soon!  Donna and I will continue to do the online events - so that her customers, who live in Pennsylvania, can join my customers, who mostly live in Virginia.  The nice thing about zoom is that anyone can join from practically anywhere!

So if you want to join us the next time, please ask to join our Facebook Group, 2 Sisters Stamping so yu will the first to know about our upcoming events.  This week we are featuring some of the products  retiring from the annual catalog, giving away prizes just for watching short videos and commenting!

The first card we made at BINGO was a mystery card.  Everyone was given a card base, card stock and Designer Series Paper pieces, and die cuts.  Everyone's colors and patterns were different. We gave "clues" for assembling the card.  It was so much fun to see how differently the cards turned out.  The card I made is above.  You can see some of the orher cards on the 2 Sisters Facebook Page - if you join the group!

The next card was this Happy Birthday card. The paper is from the Well Suited paper pack - in the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog. Because we can not supply stamped images in card kits, I used the retired "Happy Birthday" die for the greeting.  I loved seeing the alternate designs that some of the ladies made.

The last card we made was this adorable shaker card.  Again, we used die cut words and punched pieces from the DSP for this card - since we can't include stamped images in kits.   It may be hard to tell - but the white part of the card front is inside a clear envelope attached to the Bermuda Bay card front.  There are small sprinkles inside the clear envelope which move around when you shake the card.  Really cute - and a quick and easy card with a WOW factor!  The products used to make this card are from the ICE CREAM CORNER SUITE - in the Jan-June 2021 mini catalog.

Please visit my ONLINE STORE to see the products that will be retiring from the annual catalog on May 3 and to start shopping.  A new annual catalog will "go live" on May 4th.

Flowers for Every Season

I made the cards featured in this video back in August!  But at that time - most of the products I used to make the cards went on back order.  So I waited to post them until the products were back in stock - and guess what?!  I never posted and now some of them could possibly be retiring at the end of next month!  (If you are viewing this in your email - you may need to click on the title to load the video.)

So if you like what you see - be sure to order the items before they possibly sell out.  Retiring products will be posted on Wednesday, March 24, and after that, most will only be available while supplies last.

You might also want to take a look at the retiring 2019-2020 In Colors.  Some of those items are already on backorder and will be extremely limited!  I'd hate for you to miss out on your favorites!  I am going to miss Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose the most.  But I'm also excited to see the new 2021-2023 In Colors.

Below are some of the cards I feature in the video.  I have a PDF written tutorial with measurements and basic directions for all 18 cards - so please EMAIL ME if you would like a copy.

CLICK HERE to shop my online store.  Place a minimum $35 order, with some of the products I used to make these cards in your order, and I will send you enough labels and punched pieces for 30 cards - as seen below!  This offer is valid through April 30, 2021.   Just be sure to allow Stampin' Up! to share your contact information with me when you place your order so I can send you the pieces.  Better yet - let me place your order for you!

The Leftovers Card

Earlier this week I posted a video tutorial for making a "see through" card, where I cut away a section of embossed card stock.  I used that "leftover" piece of embossed card stock to make the card above.   I trimmed the piece to 3-3/4" wide.  Then I cut Designer Series Paper the same width and arranged the pieces on a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Pacific Point card stock.  I added a greeting from the Whale Done stamp set, and a punched whale to finish the layer.  Then it was all attached to a Basic White card base.

Here is the card where I cut away the embossed piece:

You can see the video tutorial for the "see through" card BY CLICKING HERE.

I made 14 other cards and a mini flip album with the Whale of a Time products in the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  You can see the projects I made BY CLICKING HERE.

Below are some of the products I used to make this card.  Click on the photo for more details about each product  and to add items to your wish list or shopping bag in my online store.

Whale See Through Card

In this video, I show how easy it is to make a cute "see through" card.  The Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper makes it super easy to create this fun card. (If you are viewing this in your email - you may need to click on the title to load the video.)

Below is the card that I made in the video.  I changed it a little from the one I saw on Pinterest (by Mary Anne Cowan) by embossing the card stock that shows on the front of the card using the Seabed 3D embossing folder.

How to  make this card:
(Watch video for better explanation)
  • 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party card stock, scored in half at 5-1/2
  • Emboss the card front with the Sea Bed embossing folder, then cut off 1" from the bottom and save for making this card ; cut off another 3-1/2 piece of the embossed front and set aside for another card
  • Use Tear & Tape adhesive to attach the window sheet to the remaining 1" embossed flap at the top of the card and then to the 1" piece that was cut off, making sure the bottom piece will be flush to the bottom of the card
  •  Cut Designer Series Paper 4-1/4 x 5-7/16.  Stamp fish or other sealife on the DSP (optional) and attach to the inside of the card
  • Cut a small turtle from another piece of the DSP and attach with a glue dot to the inside of the card.
  • Cut seaweed from Granny Apple Green and Pretty Peacock card stock using Smooth Sailing dies, and attach to the bottom of the card front using glue dots
  • Cut or punch a whale from DSP and attach to the front of the card (on the window sheet) using glue dots
  • Stamp a greeting on a 3/4" strip of Basic White card stock; cut to size and attach to the bottom right of the card front

Below are some of the products that I used to make this card.  Click on any image to get more details about the product, and to add it to your wish list or shopping bag in my online store.
